Even though my depression and anxiety are currently managable (even if barely) I'm here to have Jvnko's music crush my mind into pulp the way few other artists can. Her music helps my brain go off on it's own, without fear of it running into my own anxieties. It's nice to be able to be awake and not be held captive by my thoughts. I'm slowly learning to break free from them on my own, but until then, Sewerslvt is my guided meditation. Lead the way, Jvnko.~

@@technocarp Thank you for the kind words, friend. Shortly after that, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and my grandpa died, who was like a father to me. I almost feel like I was asking for this to happen, by feeling like maybe I could relax and begin to heal. But, times like these you realize how much yo u've grown, and how strong you can be, compared to a year ago, five years ago, ten years ago. Even if I still have such a long road ahead of me, I know I've grown a lot, and this is just another hurdle. Too many people need me for me to fail, so no matter how much I'm suffering, I'll make it through. I have to.
@pstmory50322 жыл бұрын
I do the same thing. I don't really have suicidal periods or even crushingly depressive episodes anymore, but I have several artists that I like that just take you down to a very low place. I tried to get rid of that part of myself, but in the end it's there to remind me of what I've overcome and now I keep it inside of me and live with it and I'm actually much better off with that part of me intact. It's still a place where things make sense if I'm going through some shit. It's comfortable and safe there. I can crawl inside of myself and go back to the complete and utter dispair that I lived the majority of my life in. Its comfortable when everything else is too much to handle. When I do go there ill often just quietly cry for hours sometimes. Being happy with everything is way over rated.

Don't do it Anons. You know what is the right thing to do everyday. Work out, read books, consume meaningful art and media. One step at a time and before you know it you'll be in a much better place than where you started from. The world is a very beautiful and welcoming place, to those that welcome all the pain it's gonna throw at you. *Edit* I've been getting notifications for this comment for over a year. So, a lot happened, it gets better but in a weird way. Right now I am at my parent's place and after getting a degree, going to the army for a while, it feels that the lows hit weakly (sad times are not intence or long). That should feel good, but I feel that part of me is gone, similarly to how good childhood memories fade with time. I like how reality doesn't offer me the chance to be confortably depressed. Reality is a rough bed, that keeps you thrashing without rest, and this rest is naught but a welcoming phrase for death. Or so it seems. Have a good one lads and lasses.

I agree with the first part, but the second just ain't true. This world is very unforgiving and you'll get crushed if you're weak. Sewerslvt your music is so raw, emotional, and beautiful. I am an old head but your music brings tears to my eyes at times it is so perfect. Don't ever quit doing what your doing!!

I didn't realize what I was hearing at the end after the crashing noise until I heard her voice. The rest kept playing in my mind as I realized exactly what I was listening to. I wanna ask dude, are you feeling ok? I mean I'm barely starting to listen to your music but I've resonated with it so much. Idk where your energy to make all of this amazing stuff comes from but like, just know that we're here for you. And that goes for anyone else reading this too. Some of the songs have a similar feel as the soundtrack to Interface. A kind of unnerving, empty, and nostalgic feeling with a sense of tension. Good sounds

Jvne, I hope someday that you are so happy and stable that you no longer can make music like this. You've helped so many of us, but if that means suffering as we do... Then I hope someday, you can be so happy and fulfilled that you no longer can resonate with music like this.

its been so long since I've felt calm it almost feels as if my hearts stopped beating. It feels so weird to me that something so normal now feels so foreign to me that I barely recognize it. Thank you June, I wish you the best.

HOLY SHIT! That sample of making peace from silent hill 2 is fucking great. Hopelessness is sick i been waiting for someone to sample that!!!! Seems no one else knows. Making peace - akira yamaoka(silent hill 2 ost) Hopelessness samples that song. Also what even is the algorithm... Edit: the day of night by akira yamaoka is also mixed in here as well on lolibox if y'all were interested in the original song he sampled for lolibox its off the silent hill 2 soundtrack. Also making peace isn't on the official silent hill 2 soundtrack you have to manually find it, it's the scene when james finally talks to Mary on her deathbed at the end.

Such a spectacular album! I listened to this all the time through Year 7 and 8 and it got me through my toughest times. Wish there was vinyl pressings of this album. Truly beautiful and melancholic with a bit of 90’s and early 00’s vibes. :)))

Been coming back to this album periodically ever since I found it just over a year ago. I take some time to get warm and comy and let the music take my mind for awhile. It's nice to let go and let my subconcious take over, except usually when my subconcious takes over it reminds me of everything I'm worried about. Your music makes me feel like it's okay be upset, anxious, or overwhelmed. Ofcourse it is, butsometimes, it doesn't feel that way. It's nice to feel understood. Thanks again for all your hard work, Jvnko

I just wanted to say this album is literally in my top 10 favourite albums now rn lmao. The tracks in this are just super fucking atmospheric, depressing, and trippy yet also having a super high energy at the same time in a way that gave me a feeling I just can’t explain that made me instantly fell in love with the first track to the end when I was just browsing aimlessly on bandcamp. Ooo and of course, the long droning ambient tracks are just, ugh. Beautiful👌. I’m personally going through quite a rough patch in my life but this album keeping me company is making it easier for me in this dark time. I didnt know anything about all this death grips crossover stuff before too so I went into this album completely blind. look forward to more of your work. Personal AOTY :))
