Lucy, love watching your vlogs. Did you make your jacket, if so please can you tell me what pattern and fabric you used. I’m fairly new to sewing and my aim eventually is to make myself a jacket like the one you’re wearing. Shop bought are a pain 5’3” with short arms, nothing fits properly!!

It really is a shame that the Sewing Bee series isn't available in the US. But your weekly roundup videos are the next best thing, Lucy. So many lovely patterns and fabrics to fit your descriptions of the Bees' outfits. Thank you! p.s. I just went to look at a few of the patterns on your site. They all seem to be missing the actual size chart with measurements to determine which size or size range one falls into. Just an FYI.

Last year I really tried finding a way to infiltrate, for lack of a better word, the BBC's strict licensing hold on this show by using different VPNs, backdoor sites that are somehow able to publish copies of each episode, etc. Which by the way, is how I was able to find the first 5 years. Nothing worked for years 6 - 10. The BBC has become very savvy in knowing you are outside of the BBC viewing area. I wrote to the BBC, I put a comment on most videos I see about the show, like this one, in the hopes that the BBC (or places like Netflix, sees there is an large interest in the US. I've never received a response.

The first challenge actually used a bias facing, rather than a binding. I think a couple of the Bees made this mistake, too! 😊
