Thanks Judith! My black top is one of my favorites. The pattern is Simplicity 8601, View A. I used an ITY knit even though the top is designed for wovens.

Great take on the sew frugal vlog. Thanks for the great ideas and highlighting some alternatives to printing free patterns. I love your polyester fabrics despite how challenging they might be to work with. The images and colours on them just made me gasp. Look forward to seeing your garments at the end of the month.

So excited when I saw the Sew Frugal 23 vlogger list and you were on it. I almost spit out my coffee when I saw your first inspiration top, I was cutting out a Nomi top 😂 I have several projects, 3 easy ones already done. Contemplating Mood Sewciety Elnath jacket. It's basically a jean jacket and I have seen it once already. I have a floral home dec remnant that would be fun to try as a jacket.

I almost gave you a challenge in the video and then I thought maybe I better not 🤣 I love that you’re sewing the Nomi top! What do you think so far? I’ve only download the pattern, and I haven’t looked at it yet. I love your idea for a floral home dec jacket!

@@SharonSews I did make the maxi! A couple of tiers shorter cause I'm not a tall person :-) I just looked at my projects and they are almost all floral fabrics. Perhaps that's because it is STILL SNOWING 🥶

@@SharonSews Just finishing up the Nomi top - of course I hacked it (shortened the lent=gth, did a big peplum instead of the ruffle). I like the fit, shoulders are perfect on me. You will need to do an FBA even though it is loos fitting. Pics on IG soon 🙂

The ruffled wrap skirt and the peasant top are the pattern I chose for my makes. I will definitely check out the tutorial for the tiered ruffled skirt, it's gorgeous. Thanks for all the great pattern choices.

@Sharon Sews I have a white and yellow daisy print knit I bought years ago to make sundress. I also have yellow cotton sateen to make a jean jacket to wear with it. So maybe that will also get sewn up this year.

No need to apologize! I’m glad you asked for clarification. I purchased it from Emma One Sock. I have purchased my heavy weight sweatshirt fabrics from SR Harris, it’s a fabric warehouse in the Minneapolis area. Unfortunately, they do not sell online.
