What a wonderful bag!!! Was the glue stick you used for patching the hole a fabric glue stick?

Hi, No it wasn't. It was a regular school glue stick. I do not have problems with gumming but the glue stick must be dry before sewing. Pressing over the area speeds up the drying time. Thanks so much for watching, Julia
