I currently have this on repeat. I'm enjoying the work and play aspect of these videos lately and the peephole into what is Corn. CASANOVA! The shirt is a great fit, love the thickness of that material & especially love the dress up at the end. This is a versatile piece.

You are too kind. Thank you sir. I am just living my truth. Also, just take the credit already! Casanova Corn has been busy and it was your idea to add in the segment. I just added the flair. 😏

Do you place your glass table surface for cutting fabrics on top of the sewing table? if so, does it work well? Smart idea!
@CorneliusQuiring2 жыл бұрын
I do not. The glass table is pretty sturdy on four legs (that can also be raised or lowered) and so I just move it around as needed.

hey man great video i had the same problem on the neck part when i made a turtle neck . I know you showed what you did to fix it but i wanted to ask did you trim the side that you sew to the neck line or did you trip the side seam ? I'm not using ribbed knit for my neck piece im using a soft yellow fleece thats not that stretchy
@CorneliusQuiring5 жыл бұрын
I did not trim the part that connects on to the actual collar hole itself. I just trimmed an arch in the ribbed knit.

@@CorneliusQuiring HA!! thats crazy when i was analyzing how you did it that was my hypothesis, only thing you could do is sew some sort of dart into it smart guy thank you for the quick response and straight answer

Do you remember where you purchased the standard thicker jersey and rib knit fabrics for neck/sleeves? I'm looking for something similar, either online or locally in Chicago.
@CorneliusQuiring2 жыл бұрын
I purchase all my fabrics locally here in Toronto. I find that there's something to be said for feeling fabrics in store that is crucial and just can't be replicated online. Hopefully you find something local.

did you copy the pattern from the turtle necks you already own?
@CorneliusQuiring5 жыл бұрын
I have a basic bodice pattern that I made for myself many moons ago and then just put a turtleneck on top. And a turtleneck is just a really tall version of a collar that you put on a t-shirt.
