I love the cat purse, it's so cute! I like sewing crafty things because there isn't the stress of fitting well or sewing perfectly that accompanies garment sewing. It doesn't really matter if a fabric basket has a wonky corner or a wobbly topstitch lol.

Love your daughters dress so cute. Have you seen Ami Lowden Whitmoor Sweater it is a beautiful pattern and looks complicated but her pattern is written so well and it really holds your hand. The Whitmoor also comes in a cardigan pattern. Have a look on Ralvery this pattern has been really popular with knitters ❤️

Great video and lots of variety projects. Loved your daughters bag and those baskets are great. Nice to do something different. . I had a mixed week. I’m sewing dresses to wear at two weddings this year, my two nieces are getting married 6 months apart so I’m sewing. Trying to find patterns which are comfortable but special enough. Yesterday I was sewing a beginner pattern and I’m not a beginner. I’m making a wearable toile but I thought it was going in the bin, stuffed up and was struggling with the instructions. I then went and made that but if it in an old pillowcase I ripped up and managed to do a near perfect sample as maybe I’m back on track. Love to see your adjustments. You are very clever so keep going and be confident.

I’m sure your daughter will enjoy using her bag - it really is so cute 🥰 I love your cowl neck Freya 😍😍 unfortunately I’m unable to make the freya (size😢) … but … I’m going to add the cowl to a Billie dress - I’m hoping it will be really cosy! @thefrenchseams has made a freya / Billie with a detachable cowl 😲 … it was such an easy hack too!

Thank you very much 🥰 if you are interested in sewing a Freya style top, the Nikko top by True Bias is very similar and has a wider size range so might be worth a look 😊 A cowl neck Billie sounds really lovely and cosy! I have seen one of Rachael’s Billie sweater dresses with cowl neck but I didn’t realise she has made a detachable cowl one, that is a fab idea!

One of my favourite Cassiopee dresses is made from a fushia wide wale corduroy! Great for travel in cooler weather! I added horizontal panels at the hem and sleeves.

Hi, I always enjoy your videos. I have been thinking about trying to make a knitted cardigan. I liked your Hackney cardigan but the pattern seems to be only available in a kit. I may give the Downtown cardigan a try. I like to have different projects going and working on the one I am in the mood for.
