Lovely options, thanks for sharing! I’ve been on a knitting tear the last two weeks- finished a Qiviut Flared Lace Smoke Ring with yarn I purchased in Alaska ( if you’ve never tried Qiviut, it’s insanely soft, light, and warm), also the Braided Sweater Scarf, the Basic Beanie Cuffed version with super fluffy Sirdar Alpine, and a reknit of a frogged summer sweater using Lana Grossa Ombra. Now I am working on the Sugar Cloud Sweater with Drops Alpaca Boucle (so squishy fluffy but impossible to knit with), ready to start a matching Sirdar Alpine Cowl, and also waiting for some gorgeous blue Cardiff Classic Cashmere so I can make the Petite Knit Elisabeth blouse. You would think I live in the frozen north but no, I’m in Los Angeles.. the days and nights definitely are cool in winter and require lots of beautiful knits!

I think if you designed your own silhouette mittens you should do a traditional cameo silhouette. You are always so stylish and beautiful, and I think that design would reflect that. Thank you for such fabulous pattern suggestions.

I live in Ottawa so it gets very cold -15 , -20 . winter is my favourite season ! the colder the day, usually the clearer the sky. the snow muffles noise and blankets everything in white. the days are short but i've always been a night owl type of person.

It's not cold at all here because I'm in Australia so we're heading into our 40+ deg summers. I moved to Minnesota this year and the cold is finally setting in! Since I can look forward to some pretty cold weather this winter, I am craving some warm, chunky accessories to go with my new down coat. I think I also need to learn colorwork ASAP.

I’m knitting on the Anker Tee and on the Weekender light. I live in the San Diego area. So it doesn’t get really cold but I live only a few minutes from the beach so it’s always breezy. I’m cold natured 🙄 so I usually have something long sleeved on or with me unless it’s in the mid to high 20 Celsius. Which right where I’m at it hardly ever does but across the bay the temperature difference is crazy.

I love your patterns and when I become a more experienced knitter, I would love them all! I think you are beautiful and talented and your podcasts are just what I need. Keep up the good work and I will eventually buy every pattern. I wonder how it would look if I didn’t put on the buttons or button holes because I don’t usually close up my cardigans. The perfect video as we have now had 3 days of below freezing weather…. I knit the hood scarf for my daughter-in-law last Christmas. In hot pink and white. The size is super generous, you can wrap both sides of the scarf all the way around your neck. Very cute and very cozy. Will definitely be making myself a hood soon.

new watcher/subsciber/follower! I love your energy. I'm in SF bay area so it's not super cold i think the coldest it gets is like maybe super high 30s/low 40s and that's at night. The trickier part is the wind. I'm working on finishing up some wips from last winter. I have the letti sweater which is this super easy chunky sweater. As soon as the yarn arrives I plan on making the cumulus blouse. I"m going to universal studio and the yarn looks like the grinch puked up peppermint so I want to knit that and wear it. Otherwise starting on 2025 knits I guess!

we don't really have the need to wear chunky pieces here in my city, kinda sad because i love knitted sweaters. at most we have gone to 8°c and that was a couple of days a few years ago. this year i think it went down till 11-12°c. it can feel really cold at night though because of the high humidity during the winters (our cities wake up to a really foggy morning with some sea smell, which now sounds kinda romantic haha) i am still learning to knit, but for now i'm binge watching knitting related videos while crocheting a huge piece cause i think it gives me more motivation to continue and not get distracted

I bought a pattern a year ago and the designer uses Stitch Fiddle for her drawing designs for knitting and crochet. It’s really cool. There are so many options. Just thought I mention it in case you haven’t used it before.

Don't get me wrong, the bubblegum cardigan looks great, and I think it is amazing you have self-drafted it 😄It also looks like a relatively basic drop shoulder cardigan with a double knitted button band, and I do think there probably already are a lot of patterns for those, or a lot of patterns for similar cardigans that can easily be tweaked to look like it. So I would personally not be interested.
