It's time for another episode of sewing machine adventures, the series where I learn to use a sewing machine! And for this episode I thought I'd attempt to sew the inside of a cushion, along with the cushion cover with zippers attached! Not only was I sewing the entire cushion and cover from scratch with a zipper, I was also making two of them! And I definitely learnt in this episode that sewing a zipper on to anything is way harder than I thought it was going to be, however I feel like I've gotten way more comfortable with my sewing machine, and I've finally started to figure out how it all works! And I managed to successfully sew two cushions, which I am chuffed about! But feel free to let me know what your thoughts were on my cushions with zippers, and if you have any sewing tips or tricks for me (especially when it comes to sewing zippers to fabric) then please leave them in the comments below!
