I love the lining fabric. A fun detail. Everytime you mention Hart's Fabric I feel a wave of nostalgia. I grew up going there with my grandma and Aunt.

These are great. I agree, they’re not necessary and the pants still look great without them. Thinking mine could use a button now. The pocket opening kinda sags because they’re linen.

I think I might know what that person who was asking you about moving the camera view to see under it too. He may have wanted to know what foot do you push down the toe or the heel to make it go? Which knee do you use to raise the presser foot?

Wellll. Maybe I can enlighten you some day on what was probably really happening with those comments. They’re not new. And I don’t have a knee lift. And I’ve shown all that on the Machine Maintenance video that they’ve commented on before. But they’d why I asked. And they never answered with a solid answer so I think my suspicion is confirmed.

Ah okay. I didn’t know what you meant by basic pattern. I didn’t draft the one in this video. However you can buy it from the company who makes it. They have a downloadable pattern so you don’t have to ship it. The company is called Cashmerette. And the pattern name is Meriam Trousers. There is another you might like called Mitchell Trousers by Closet Core Patterns. I’ve sewn these in a videos too.
