I love this Chanel. But I wish you would show more of you sewing so I can see your technique for a beginner.💕

Thanks Sarah for the videos! I love going back and rewatching to help with any project I am working on. Just made the Frannie pattern and watched the video on making a loop for the button.

Hi Sarah!! Do you add this extension fabric they talk about in the pattern? It would be on the back crotch for adding the snaps. It appears you did not add it?

Thanks Sarah. I love your videos. I really like the fabrics you had chosen.

Do you have a video showing construction of the Johnny shorts romper? I can’t figure out how to sew the crotch area. Thanks, appreciate your videos!

Oh my! I tried to follow CC pattern instructions for Johnny.., nothing like yours. I guess I need to throw mine away and start over. So wish CC had better instructions. You make it look easy, even though I still did not understand the last few steps. Thank you.

Hey there! Thanks, and I have another cc johnny in a more timely manner, too. That one also does the smocked insert. The last few steps may make more sense when you have your garment sitting in front of you... but if not, just ask away and im happy to help 😘

Informative video. Your voice is calm and refreshing. Just curious: do you not use a needle board to press corduroy, velveteen, etc? I find it keeps the texture of the fabric intact. I’m actually about to make CC Johnnie myself. Thanks.

I've never heard of a needle board... i'll have to look into that, thanks!

Sarah, first of all, re: the piping, you ARE an expert and you do make many things look easy but that’s why I watch you...because you’re good at it! Second, the CC pattern says to close the side seams of the romper then the lining, then to see them Together. It looked like you were seeing them together before finishing the second side seam? Maybe I just missed you doing that? Just thinking maybe you cut out a step to simplify?

Ah sorry sew not see...

hey there, you are too sweet! thank you! and yes, I did one side seam, then the top and bottom, and then the other side seam. watch from around 28:00-34:00 ish.... let me know if that clarifies things for you :-) thanks!

sorry, camera issues. but I've shown this part in a lot of my other videos, check out the cc taylor or smocked johnny that is linked in the description box. thanks

Did you make your own piping?
@bonnierevelle35914 жыл бұрын
The CC instructions add a strip to the back crotch for snaps. Do you do that, or do you place the snaps on the leg without the strip. Thanks.
@sarahclassicsewing4 жыл бұрын
Oh i didnt read the instructions, and yeah, didnt add the strip of fabric... but that sounds like it would make it bulky.
