Who wants perfection?! Just lovely sewing and interesting projects done the way you like to do them. The quilt is gorgeous and it was fun to see it come together as I'm not a quilter. Your content is always fun to watch. All the best to you, your family and baby crafty pie. Hope we see you again soon.

Hi Brogan, love the quilt. The fabrics are gorgeous. I once sewed a baby quilt for a colleague in an evening and in the rush to finish I forgot to check everything was square. It ended up being a bit wonky, but she loved it anyway. I was slightly embarrassed when she opened it out though! Don't worry about being perfect, no-one expects you to be. Just be your enthusiastic self and we will continue to enjoy sharing your sewing journey. :)

Your quilting looks great. When you are ironing, best way is to sew one row to left and next row to right. Then the seams will nest together tightly and you’ll get better joins. However you achieved GREAT results. On binding you don’t need bias to bind. You can just cut 2- 21/2” strips and you mitre the corners which is easy. You fold in half then attach to wring side . Flip over to right side and stitch . That way you get strength in the bound edge and you can stitch on machine instead of hand sewing… if you’d like to Really beautiful quilt you have amde

Love the binding machine and will definitely be asking for one for Christmas. But thank you for this binding tip Jan Spenno as I was dreading the hand stitching!!!

I love crime junkie too, so glad to hear that Brit is doing ok after her medical emergency and surgeries. Don't know if anyone has suggested Women & Crime podcast? They are two criminology professors and they discuss crime with female victims or perpetrators. So knowledgeable and they cover some lesser known cases 💚🙂 The blanket is gorgeous, baby crafty pie is so lucky to have you as their mama!

Lovely video. For me it’s demystified how to do quilting. I didn’t realise how straight forward it was. I’m going to give it a go. Thank you 😀 P.S. Your dog is gorgeous. Can’t wait to see your new baby. My children are all grown up but hopefully one day I’ll be a grandma and have a baby to cuddle again!❤️

You make it look so simple, Brogan but, having made a baby quilt I know it’s not. I love it and the Liberty fabric is so special.

Hi Brogan! Thank you so much for the video, I’m planning on making my very first quilt in Christmas fabric. Can you give me any tips on hand sewing the binding? Do I need to be doing a certain stitch so it doesn’t show on the other side? Thank you in advance xx

Hi Brogan! Loved this quilting video, thank you for doing it. What Sean allowance did you do when sewing each square together? Did you use a different foot or just measure it against the machine? Xx
