Very very good tutorial!! I was so so happy to find this tutorial as the instructions were a bit difficult to understand. I'm a visual learner so this really helped me alot. Thank you for this video! It's so helpful! I love your method of sewing the belt. I would also be a size 6 except my hips would be a size 8. Would you mind sharing your measurements for reference? Do you think 10" of ease for hips would be plenty for using just a size 6?

Hi thanks for watching! And sorry for my delayed reply! I made a size 4 and my measurements are 5'4" 33" 28" 36" . I recommend you to go with a size 8 for a bottom parts as this dress doesn't offer plenty of overlapping area.

Yes, there are videos about how to serge without a serger out there. Also you can finish the seams in many different method!
