I'm happy to hear that the tutorial was helpful for you! Adapting patterns can be such a rewarding way to create the perfect fit, especially for those beautiful vintage styles like the '60s drop waist dress. Your plan to combine it with a shift dress top sounds like a great approach, and I'm sure it's going to turn out wonderfully. Best of luck with your sewing project, and I'd love to hear how it goes once you've given it a try.

you mentioned 15inches radius how did u calculate it,I thought 10.5 inches
@SewingTutorialsByAgeberry8 ай бұрын
I just found it by placing a tape measure on the fabric. Read my detailed tutorial at this link - www.ageberry.com/how-to-make-half-circle-skirt/

I know you calculated your waist circumference by 4,to get 10.5. But you mention radius,is it radius of what?
@eliseb30207 ай бұрын
@@lorsholczk7329I was confused at first too. She meant take the hip measurement divided by 4 (10.5 for her) and line it up across the top of the fabric with a measuring tape (kind of curving the measuring tape). Then mark how far down the fabric (from the point of the fabric) you would cut the waistline and measure that distance from the top (the point) of the fabric down to the waistline (15 inches for her) so that you could more accurately draw the waistline on the fabric since it’s not a straight line but a curve. I hope that made some sort of sense!
