Thank you so much. I don’t know why, the pocket instruction where confusing me. It all makes sense now.

So glad you did this video , I have had this pattern and fabric for the best part of a year and been too scared to make them I’m definitely going to do them now .I bought lemermaid from like so amazing and still have it .Im just plucking up the courage to make some clothes I’ve only ever made the Ogden cami and was delighted that it fit and wore it with pride on my holiday at the beginning of March .

Diane Pritchard Well done on your Ogden Cami! If you’ve made that, you can definitely make these. Oh I love that Lemermaid fabric. I’ve got a top made in it. I’m so glad the video has helped and you can go for it now :) x

Thanks for your hard work making this and I didn't notice the camara wobbling at all 😉...to engrossed to notice I think lol. Ziggy was very happy there 😸. Love the outtakes 😂💟😘

Thank you for this! I had these cut out and after watching your video 1x thru I was convinced I needed to do them pronto! Not wrong, so easy and you helped me every step of the way. Just in time for 100 degrees in AZ, USA, and now I want to make more! A pair for everyone. Until the next thing catches my wandering eye anyway. Love your stuff! Hope all is well with you and the baby. :).

Thanks for the video, great explanation! As regards yr energy levels, I was the same . I was very slim and hardly showed I was pregnant until after 6 months , then I ballooned ! and my baby grew so much within this last semester , I felt constantly tired and sleepy! Baby was born after 40 weeks and hardly ever slept ! So sleep as much as you can NOW , u will also feel better after u rest ! Take care dear xx

Another brilliant video Tamlyn. You demonstrate to clearly and so well 👏 You must be an absolutely lovely teacher for the little ones. I’m inspired to make some Hudson’s for my husband, and thanks to this video I think I’ll have a fighting chance of getting ‘em right 🤣. I adore Ziggy’s input; in the early part of this video I was distracted from listening to you because she was clambering about on the top shelf behind you 😂. Keep safe and keep well xx

Aww thank you so much Shelly, that's a really lovely thing for you to say. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful. Haha I know, Ziggy does command attention - I didn't even know she was there until I watched it back! xx

Loved this. I made my first pair of Hudson pants on my birthday and had to piece the waist band on mine as well so you made perfect sense on that part.

I love Ziggy appearing in your videos having cat helpers is always nice 😻 I have made the Hudson pants for myself a few times and love love love them! I want to make some for my other half at some point but I get so wrapped up in my list of makes for me! #selfishsewing 🤣 x

Thanks so much, I'm glad you love Ziggy too! Haha I know what you mean about sewing for yourself. I much prefer it! But I have enjoyed making these for Sam, especially seeing his reaction and his appreciation - makes it all worth it xx

I have made this type of pant before, by a different pattern maker. They are so easy to make and comfy to wear. Unless Sam wears red nail polish on his toes, I'd guess it was you modeling the finished pairs!! They turned out so well, congrats!!

Super awesome!! I've wondered about this pattern. I've made True Bias Emerson pants and some of the construction is the same so id like to try these. Thanks for the demo!!

Hi! Thanks for this video! Out of curiosity, which needle did you end up using for the viscose twill?
@susankidd99634 жыл бұрын
Hi Tamlyn what size needle do you use for stretch cotton and is it ball point or stretch needle
@SewnontheTyne4 жыл бұрын
I use a stretch needle, usually size 70 or 80 for cotton jersey. I know some people prefer a ball point needle though

Hi Tamlyn, Thank you for this video. I was just wondering when your choosing a size for the Hudson pants, do you pick Finished Garment measurent size or the normal sizes? I made a pair for my boyfriend picking the finished garment measurement but they ended up really small on Him? I'm so confused. I made them out of a solar system cotton jersey like yours but they are tiny on him. Please. So love this channel 😀
@karenlowes78024 жыл бұрын
Haven't made these pants. Are these " at home"pants or would you wear them out? I knew Ziggy would choose the dark pants, the better to show off her lovely white hair! LOL
@SewnontheTyne4 жыл бұрын
Karen Lowes Haha I know, typical! I would say that, depending on the fabric, they could be worn both in and out of the house. These pairs are very much at home pairs. But I think a plain fabric would be great for an ‘out’ pair x
@jackiturner92284 жыл бұрын
Do you change the needle every time on the serger also?
@SewnontheTyne4 жыл бұрын
Jacki Turner No I don’t. I’ve had the same needles in there for ages actually 🙈 Although I’ve just bought a new pack so I can replace them x

Hiya Tamlyn, I wanted to make these for my son as a birthday present with a Kwik Sew hoodie. He likes skinny joggers though. Are they easily skinnified? 🤣🤣🤣 xx
@SewnontheTyne4 жыл бұрын
Live, Love & Learn Naturally Haha love that word ‘skinnified’ 😃 They are actually quite a skinny fit jogger. So I would just suggest choosing a size carefully, using the finished garment measurements, based on that skinny fit that your son wants xx
