Great tutorial. Haven't tried FM work yet but you make everything look so easy.
@SewVeryEasy9 жыл бұрын
+susan chase Just give it a try:) If you want just make a quilt with plain fabric and quilt away! This way you are not worried about your good quilt, and you can cut up the plain quilt and make pot holders and crafts with it. Good practice this way.

Your tips are so helpful, I hope to see more FMQ. You're explaining things in a way im readily absorbing. I love FMQ and am trying to challenge myself; so far I only excel at simple loopy designs. I was practicing flowers last night and they look ...very unnatural and spiky, oops!
@SewVeryEasy9 жыл бұрын
+Stitch Wishes That's great that you are FMQ and don't worry about it being spiky, try to work out a design using what comes to you natural:) remember all lot of flowers have pointy petals , just go with it. Thanks for watching I'm glad you are enjoying the videos.

Hey Laura. I absolutely love your videos. They are so helpful. I am a beginner quilter and I was wondering I you have ever used fleece to back a quilt?
@SewVeryEasy8 жыл бұрын
+DeadChapel 42 Yes I have, however it was not fun to quilt with. If you do be sure to baste very very well ( may be spray baste it too) and use a walking foot, because it wants to stretch as you sew. Thanks for watching

Love the design, Laura! You have a stitch regulator? Is it part of the machine or separate? Cool!
