I know. Im not mad about it, but it does reveal being slightly out of touch with people that aren't in their bubble or are just like them. Besides, many law abiding people carry guns in cities and suburbs, too. It really doesn't indicate much about someone. It could be a concern, but definitely not automatically. Funnily enough, the whole story would have been a non issue had she brought it with her. They can be a deterrent, even without firing a shot. Like drew, im not convinced he was definately looking to harm her, either. Could have been looking for his dog, or directions, etc. Or he could have had 3 bodies in the trunk, we'll never know.
