@@heighwaysonthewing Matlock co-wrote a good deal of the songs to my understanding. I also understand that most of their best work was recorded before Sid joined the band. But honestly, I don’t care that much. I don’t judge musicians by their image, but by their playing. He plays well.

Agreed. I saw the first reunion at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, and Lydon's phrasing left out the raw anger of the original delivery. It just got worse/more arch over time.

Paul Cook and Topper Headon are some of the best drummers I've ever heard. The energy and feeling of the two bands is defined by the drummers' ability to keep the tempo going, to often that is overlooked

So amazing to hear this. Wa crying almost all through the show. I could tell by the musicians physical reactions that it wasn't just to put on a show but that they were actually greatly enjoying it. You can never get the true sound of any band without the original players- makes the world of difference.

Just learned - I used to live on 136 Holland Road ( London ) Freddy Mercury lived on 100 Holland Road were he wrote Bohemian Rhapsody - Holland Road at the end is connected with Shepherds Busch -the Sex Pistols, they were called The Strand, or sometimes The Swankers. in 1972 Steve Jones and Paul Cook, along with Wally Nightingale started the band , Therefore Queen and Pistols are connected haha
