My wife and I met Olivia Munn in 2010 at Barnes and Noble in Dallas, TX at her book reading. She read an excerpt from her book which included the Ratner incident without naming his name, she joked, had fun and took questions. 10 years later we still talk about how fun, gracious and lovely she was. She took pictures with everyone, autograph stuff and actually took time to speak to her fans. She was completely 💯 down to earth. Seems like she hasn't changed. 😊

*OLIVIA MUNN* !!!!!! I clicked on this video so fast - I almost broke my finger (just a slight sprain - nobody panic)... I fell in love with her personality when she was on "Attack of the Show" (I watched it *EVERY NIGHT* it was on!)... I've always been so proud of her success (but, mainly because she's just a down-to-earth, lovable person!) Sure, she's human & *might* have flaws - but who sees 'em?! She *IS* and *ALWAYS WILL BE* one of my favorite actors!!! The fact that she stands up to sleazeballs is just icing on the cake!!

Great interview! I loved how Whitney talked about oversharing 1:37:00. Olivia responded well by talking about a "false sense of intimacy". Olivia also says that "the only thing that creates closeness is just time and trust builds into that." A lot of people I meet don't understand this. It took me a while to learn this and I got that lesson the hard way.
@AndrewMilesMurphy

It's only a false sense of intimacy when you have a foul intention towards that person, and not a loving one. When we seek to form bonds, we can't bond without exposing our vulnerabilities, and reasons for being how we are.

@Jason Conlan. Olivia Munn is nothing but a mediocre actress. The one thing she is good at is sleeping around Hollywood. Actor, director, producer, singer, athlete, trust fund baby. You name it, she's fucked it. There's a reason Meryl Streep has shelves full of awards and trophies while Olivia's shelves are bare. Btw, if you think twirling a sword in front of a green screen is "acting" then you don't know anything about cinema. And no, I don't have an IMDB page. I'm an engineer in the real world; not in show biz. Lol.

Fan of Olivia from the AOT days, then felt betrayed when she bailed from the show and haven't watched her since. It's great to see she still has that down to earth, calm, casual, witty, and self-deprecating personality that feels like she'd be super chill to hang out with and not a Hollywood diva or total spaz. I'm back on board with Olivia!!

It's a talk show where they "talk" about various things. She's not dating these people it's not a real life situation. And please use common sense before commenting.

Yeah, but to her credit, I believe she has admitted to some of her own red flags. Also, shes been through a lot of therapy and has learned a lot about these issues within herself, and as a result, she has learned how to spot them in others. Once you pick up new wisdom like that, it's hard to not want to share it with those around you. Although, it's not always appropriate to do so.

@@666slateran666 Yeah, it just seems judgmental. She clearly is still recovering from her own hot mess of an upbringing where she would get dressed on top of a stove, but in the same breath, she says she has no time for people in their 40's who don't have their act together.🤔 Seriously, if you are going to extend compassion to animals, human beings are not rocks that you cast aside. People need help too, but she needs to learn how to calm herself down before offering to take over. Bringing up her codependence addiction and "protecting her energy" all the time is not the path to recovery but to solipsism. She should waste less time in therapy, to then casually badmouth people who talk about their experiences in therapy, lol, and cultivate equanimity so that everything is no longer a trigger for her.

That "mould and leak" example blew my mind... Some years ago I saw a short film in depression and how it like a mould on wall keep growing and that person try to remove it and it comes back and reappears in different places and it was a silent film so there was nothing else than that and it left me feeling like there's no solution but now I think that we gotta check for leak and then it can be fixed. Thanks sis Olivia❤️

The museum Olivia Munn talks about is almost certainly the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, especially given the painting described. It’s very likely that she is referring to their Mark Rothko painting, “Light Cloud, Dark Cloud” (if anyone is interested in looking it up). Also, the philosopher she mentions is François de La Rochefoucauld.

Lillian Christensen not sure, but I can say in my experience, his inability to be independent from his mother (who is financially and physically healthy) was a problem for me.

I think Whitney was wrong on women's intuition... Intuition has been known to be "unreliable" and often wrong on many many occasions... Olivia was on point when she said we can't always ONLY rely our gut all the time, we have use both our brain and gut

@@noticemesenpai69 Kevin is one of quickest, wittiest, funniest people I've ever ever seen. He had a pretty decent podcast for awhile with some great guests (check out the Adam Sessler interview and Kevins trip to Peru to do ayuasca) but hasn't uploaded in awhile. He also produced a show called the Attack that was similar to attack of the show but live on twitch but I think it got cancelled. If Kevin is behind this g4 revival I'm super on board, he's very talented and deserves so much more.

@@noticemesenpai69 yeah I always loved Kevins podcasts with ex g4 employees, he had Alison haislip, Morgan Webb, Candace Bailey, Sarah underwood, and employees from behind the scenes as well, but I just loved all the insight into the inner workings of g4. Idk if you know hit Sessler basically realized he was getting fired on air and you can see the moment when he notices when of the big wig executives is there but he knew it was coming, it was super shady. But yeah check out Kevins podcast, it's on you tube called the pointless podcast, he actually did quite a few episodes, I think over 100 and he's still just as sharp and hilarious as always.
