We saw a big production crew and it turned out to be Hilary Duff filming her “So Yesterday” music video. She was only 16 and she was the sweetest soul I ever met! I can’t love her more!🥰 That story with her son not knowing she’s famous for a long time makes sense. I liked that she waited for it to click with him and ask then approached because he was too young and wouldn’t have gotten it. He also hatttted paps especially as a toddler :( I felt so bad for her in vids with them stalking her. Her and her mom are so sweet/close! PROBABLY the best manager/child relationship because her mom used to be her manager and could have done wrong but did not as she stated. Also her relationship with her ex wasn’t touched but they do SUCH a great coparent job. They go to his games and seem very close. Their son is so well rounded. She’s so refreshingly chill and amiable/relatable yet tough when she needs to be. Her husband is lucky!

After watching a number of these interviews plus her interactions with Benton make me feel like she has definitely or definitively become a more mentally healthy person. Taking parenting advice from a 38 year old woman who has no kids and can't name a single ex boyfriend she hasn't cheated on is probably not the best move. Whitney is a great comic... but she's a complete fucking train wreck in her personal life. Hopping from guy to guy every time she thinks she can "upgrade" to someone with higher status... then waking up one morning and realizing she's hit the wall (hard) and high status men are no longer paying attention.
