For me i found the best iced coffee at home is using a vietnamese coffee maker (its a small contraption, cheap, simple, basically a mix between an esspresso and a drip i would say?) with a bit of condensed milk. It's strong and sweet (less condensed milk if you want it less sweet) and delicious

Comparing home coffee to shop coffee will never be equal because there is definitely a psychological aspect. Sbux used to sell all their sauces and syrups online. I'm not particularly bothered by noise. But I do have ADHD and I'm loud regularly, and I'm not at all aware of it. Flip-flops, slide sandals, etc are loud shoes unless you are sliding around the house like Tom Cruise in Risky Business. I suggest memory foam slippers for at-home use. They are as close to foot mufflers as you can get. Especially if paired with some fluffy cozy rugs.

I am DEPENDENT on my Aeropress~ it takes a few tries maybe to find which ratio works for your tastes but it was love at first plunge. But caller, if you're here, (or anybody lol) The most basic cold brew recipe is 1cup coffee grounds, 4cups water in a pitcher, let it steep in your fridge for UP TO 24 hours. Then filter it obv. It'll be fresh all week. Keep in mind an American latte is mostly milk. When adding your milk, pour it slowly to, again, find what you like. It'll taste different at home vs a store no matter what. If you fuck it up, squirt in some chocolate syrup and try again tomorrow 😂

A lot of coffee shops will sell you the beans they use so if you already know that you like their coffee I would say go and buy some of their beans (and if they have the option to grind them for you do that)

@@PerfectPerson honestly, it’s life changing. I prefer using a French press to brew a pot and pour into an ice tray. Fill a glass or mug with coffee cubes then do a half/half pour of coffee and preferred milk to make the perfect café au lait without a watered down taste
