All sin are mention in the Bible , the cutting foot hand and eyes is about adultery , the tradition of the elders is call evil by Jesus , by the way all act using any contraception is a mere masturbation , becouse sex is done to create children it not even sex , this is critical and destroy any argument, the other thing is most marriage are not real as Virgin status is neeed so they could be fornicating , the worst part is that chemical pills kill embryo by making the egg unable to develop if the soul is at conception then not only sin mention but murder this won’t be mention as make all look demonic.

They think religion is funny. When god comes and he Judges them are they going to laugh then? People makes their own choices because they gave to live with it. @@marshaestep7453 I agree. It's very scary times. I'm just gonna try to prepare myself and whoever will listen. Watching this video made me so sad to see younger generations patterns of thought. We need the important parts of life at the center of every household... love and a healthy fear for/of God, family, kindness, respect. It's crazy how some can't see that our current societal standards are so twisted that it's hurting every aspect of life. If we focus back on putting God first, literally everything else falls into place. Too many arrogant humans think they can play God here *coughBillGatescough*. I love to imagine the genius God is... you'd have to be amazing to create every little aspect of life. It's really beautiful to dive into. All the glory to Him!

this is complicated. language scholars say that the bible is a library. outside of the bible, Hebrew and Greek speaking people wrote other works of fiction and non-fiction. they wrote ligal contracts and historical accounts, as well as poetry and tall tales. language scholars are able study these fore reference, and then look at the bible speculate and what type of literature is being used. the bible says that all scripture is useful for leaning about God. the bible also says that all scripture is breathed from God. these things to not explicitly mean that the bible is entirely literal.
@dillonlboyer
@dillonlboyer Жыл бұрын
@@625098evan The problem that can arise with this line of thinking is that it becomes incredibly easy for people to pick and choose which biblical moral laws they want to uphold, often because they are predisposed to want to avoid some (hard to flow against the current of culture for some people). Whether or not Job is a historical account has no bearing on the moral teaching of the OT and NT, which have to be taken literally. There is no indication, from Jesus or the apostles, that the moral law should be viewed as anything but literally. We should remember that Jesus was a fundamentalist regarding the scripture he quoted. Are we Christian students above our teacher to act differently?
@browserboy1984
@browserboy1984 Жыл бұрын
@@625098evan basic nuance is required when studying the Bible. There is quite a bit of allegorical and metaphorical content in the Bible. People with alterior motives take what is obviously literal and claim it to be metaphorical, when it contradicts what they want to be true. These people also take the metaphorical and claim it to be literal when it serves to make the Bible appear absurd.

@@say7628 a good example of sins that we commit everyday, is breaking the 10 commandments. The more we sin, the more we push ourselves away from God (as an unbeliever). It corrupts our behaviors as Doug said, and twists our spirit and thinking about what God has actually sent us down here for: to worship Him. The only way to allow our sins to be completely covered/cleansed is through Jesus sacrifice. He was sinless, and paid the FULL price for us, in order for us to be made righteous through Him. And how can He “just forgive us” bro? You get me? Like there doesn’t seem to be any other way but to come down and show us how to live our lives, and giving Himself for us. That’s true love🙏🏽

@cyano741

@@brendanclark1058 Trust you? hah, because you're an authority on the matter? I am a hardcore atheist, but clinical psychology is not in the least exclusive to people who have biased personal opinions on the matter. In fact, it is quite the opposite, although the opposing party likes to biasedly think the contrary. Maybe start by asking what their definition of "internal conflict" consists of, before you make hypocritical generalizing statements of your own. Communication serves to understand one another, not to prove you're right.
@brendanclark1058
@brendanclark1058 2 жыл бұрын
@@cyano741 Your last sentence is exactly right- something you’ve clearly not tried to do with my statement. “Trust me”- as in I do have _some_ authority to speak on the matter as I am atheist _and_ gay. I don’t see you addressing their fallacies within their own comment, but I can see that you likely have biases against my viewpoints already. I don’t care if you are “hardcore atheist” or not, you can still be quite wrong on the matter. As for the op’s comment, I don’t have to ask what they believe is “inner conflict.” They already displayed what they believe on that front. I criticized their claim that the behavior of the audience somehow proves that they inherently believe that they are in the wrong or living in “sin,” which again is a bizarre and bold claim that could not be farther from the truth. It’s like a very poor form of confirmation bias. The fact that both you and the op are apparently ignoring is that the individuals jeering in the audience are most likely a part of a community with a steep history of oppression, violence, and discrimination. Much of which has been perpetrated by extreme Christian fundamentalists. To ignore or deny that reality is an unfair injustice to their experiences and also quite delusional. So when another individual seems to align with mentalities that are reminiscent of the mentalities of their own victimizers, a visceral reaction such as theirs isn’t entirely out of left field. They may not be thinking fairly or rationally regarding this particular speaker, but there is an explanation outside of “inherent guilt” about supposed immoral sin or evil- as the op has implied. Are you starting to understand more now about my “authority??” Let’s see how you respond

The scary part (for me of course) is several years ago i had a terrifying dream with these beautifual dervish like spinning dancing people, full of colors and wonder. As they spun their faces become monstrous and covered in blood. The sound was so similar to the background chatter of the students, cackling and laughter. I knew what the dream was about immediately.... we're in the age.

@@davidr1620 He/she is agreeing with you on the negative aspects of the audience, and expanded upon your original statement adding that although they disregard/essentially hate the Bible they devote a great deal of time and effort in order to refute/embarrass it one way or another, which is ironic. “The Oracle” was just showing his/her agreement and adding in the beginning a disclaimer that he/she was a gay Christian in order to show you that although he/she shared a similarity with the people shown, he/she was not in agreement with them. This is how “the Oracle’s” comment has to do with yours. That was a longer explanation than I thought it would be lol.
