The end result is totally very suave and you did a good job on getting this vest done. It hard to find denim jackets that fit me so well. I am just not the one to cut these types of jackets up. Great idea! I love the tapered effect at the waist; it's so much better than the loose fit we associate with denim. I'm just wondering about your decision to simply overlap the back over the front and track it down. I think I would like the traditional seam from the armpit straight down. QUESTION: Do you have it pinched in the back at the waist? I saw the dart down the back to take in the waist. But in the vid it looks like you have the back pinched/pleat with a button (?) back there as well. Love this and think I can do it.

Hey there One thing that o do when I need to re do the hem line of my jeans is I just double thread, like the bobbin as usual but the thread on top I usually have two just to give the effect of a thicker line and it looks sooo good
