Seymour Duncan Antiquity I for Fender Jazzmaster

I know this is years old but thank you .The only person who has ever showed the rythem circuit . I always liked the 1s but have gotten so confused between Lollars ,Fralins,Novak's,Home of Tones etc but it's just something I love about the SD antiquity 1s tone.

I've just recently thought of getting a Modern Player Jazzmaster, routing in a rhythm circuit and putting in single coils... I like these ones a lot. The funny thing about the jazzmaster is that it kind of caught me when I was thinking more about a 71 thinline telecaster... it never entered my mind!!!

Seymour Duncan is king of making pickups he knows exactly what he's doing ! Excellent sounding pick ups you have there ...I love the seymour Duncan pickups in my Squire Jazzmaster as well

@Jazzmaster11 Hey thanks so much for putting time and effort making that comparison on OS forum. Yeah, kinda dislike the harsher side of the ant II on the bridge. What do you think about Ant1 bridge & Ant2 neck combination, or Novak JM-V on neck or both for alternative/rock/indie sound?

The I is based in the 50s models, with more mellow sound. The II is based in the 60s, the more commonly recognizable Jazzmaster sound. I for smoother sound and II for alt-rock.

I was wondering, after listening to almost every video you have on your channel, if you could put up a short comparison of the Novaks and the Lollars? I'm considering to assembly my own JM and want to find out which pickups to choose. Ps. aren't you beginning to be fucking tired of all these questions?

iv got a fender jazzmaster blacktop, iv orded the antiquity 1 for the neck and a dimarzio dp100f (super distortion) for the bridge, will the middle position sound weird? i really liked the solo

Salut, le niveau de sortie de l'ant I est plus soft et son spectre est plus centré sur le bas medium là où l'antiquity II sera plus sur le haut medium.

Oui c'est bien résumé, pour le style que tu veux je pense qu'une association avec l'Ant 2 en neck et l'Ant 1 en bridge serait un bon compromis.

The Ant I has alnico 2 magnet and less output, it sounds softer with less hi end.
