I’ve been saying..make Kruk and Kuip the announcer for World Series! They’ve played the game and know it very well! Plus they aren’t bias and give players their props!! The other announcers call the games as we see it! I would say that they’re the best announcers in MLB period! I’ve learned so much from them especially by them calling the pitchers pitches! They’re teachers for the sport and it will always be a beautiful thing!

@@marioesqueda9534for non-Giants fans they will always be legends for doing the commentary on MVP Baseball 2005, the best sports video game ever made. Some absolutely classic lines, whenever I see a bad strikeout I always think of Krukow’s “grab some pine, meat!”

Kruk and Kuip. It doesn't get any better. Our Giants aren't doing great but we're die hards for life. 3 generations of fans in my family. We aren't going anywhere. If we could sit at candlestick park in freezing weather with 2,000 other fans then we can sit in Oracle, the best baseball field in the world, and weather any storm.

I met Kruk on A plane in 2015 on my way to Spring Training. He was so gracious. We talked about the 2014 WS and took a photo. Best day of my life ❤❤❤

Jay Johnstone told a story on Kruk in his book "Temporary Insanity," in which, as a veteran, he pranked Robby Deer into going into Chicago, finding the local statue of General Sherman on a horse, and painting the horse's balls black and orange, Giants' colors. I've always wanted to ask him if he still does that to Giants' rookies.

It's too bad the Giants aren't involved in more rain delays. When Kruk and the other broadcasters are given the time to improvise and converse ad hoc, it's very entertaining. I love hearing them tell stories about themselves and baseball in general. Great interview.

@@shpoopadoop Mike Krukow has been living with a condition called Inclusion Body Myositis which is progressively weakening certain muscles in his body. It's the main reason he doesn't travel to away games anymore.

@@shpoopadoop Kruk has been dealing with IBM (Inclusion Body Myositis) for a number of years, which impacts his mobility. Beginning in 2017 he announced that he would reduce his schedule to 120 games a season working road games only west of Denver, except for postseason games.

It will be such a shame if Kruk & Kuip are not in the MLB Hall of Fame before one of them stops broadcasting or god forbid one of them passes. I know that only one broadcaster makes the HOF at a time, but let the baseball gods see fit to get these two in the HOP together while they are both still around.
