I like the young core, I hope they extend Chapman too… we got some older guys that can fetch us some good young prospects… I’d trade Conforto, Snell, Flores, maybe Doval for a good haul…

Operation trade anything you can on the big league roster not named Webb, Harrison or Ramos for big time prospects and try to land a big bat with team control to pair with Ramos because clearly that's not possible in free agency

Farhan is dealing from desperation and is bound to fail, remember the Rodon deal? Instead of trading him for prospects farhan hung onto him thinking the Giants were still in it, they flopped, Rodon walked.

They want an impact bat... they cannot get one in free agency cuz who the hell would want to play in SF right now, they haven't been a good team since 2014... That means the only way to get one is in a trade, problem is that anyone who is any good has a no trade or an opt out, or both... Trading away 1st round picks or promising prospects for a guy who can walk when the seasons over is STUPID. If you're gunna do it, it has to be for a guy who is gunna be in a giants uniform for a MINIMUM of 3 years, no opt out, and I don't wanna burn anything significant on a 2nd rate player like oh I dunno JORGE SOLER... (don't get me started on that dumpster fire) If you're gunna burn first round picks and top 5 prospects the guy you're getting better be good, not good 3 years ago... GOOD FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS... The Giants are just the dumbest team in baseball... Jorge Soler, let's take a little look, batting avg... 2020 .228 2021 .223 2022 .207 2023 .250 2024 .226 But he's not there to hit for AVG, he's there for home runs... STFU he has 11 HR this season, his power numbers FELL OFF A GODDAMN CLIFF. Dude played in Miami where right center field is 387 and the right field is 335, in SF right center is 421, right field is 365 WITH A 24 FT. FUCKING WALL... and the wind blowing in off the bay... SF MURDERS left-handed power hitters not named Barry Bonds. I know it looks like I am hating on Soler... He is just a conspicuous example, I could make the same exact argument against Conforto or any number of other players Zhadi has brought to SF, he can't land Aaron Judge so he settles for 2nd or 3rd tier "stars" (I never thought of Soler or Conforto as a star...) and surprise surprise they disappoint... Where am I going with this rant... If you are gunna burn 1st round picks and Top Tier prospects getting a guy, DONT FUCKING SETTLE FOR MICHAEL CONFORTO OR JORGE SOLER... if you can't land a legit "STAR" then forget it. What they should be doing is looking at pitching... But they signed Robby Ray and Blake Snell... STFU how much has that helped them this season, Robby fucking Ray hasn't played a single game and Blake Snell has 2 good starts, 100 fucking games in. DISASTERS BOTH OF THEM SELL IMMEDIATELY IF YOU CAN FIND ANYONE WHO WILL TAKE THEM. The Giants need to play the kids and make an all-out effort to fix the goddamn pitching problem. Instead of going after (insert the name of whatever hitter you want them to go after) they should be going after the best pitchers (plural) they can possibly get. It's time to burn it down here and start over. What they have is shit, shit that probably won't make the playoffs, and if they do sneak in it will be a quick 1st round exit. The team needs a rebuild and that means if it isn't a promising 21-26-year-old its gotta go. Load up the farm system and accept that you're gunna be shit for the next couple of years... or keep doin what you been doin since 2014 and be shit indefinitely...

Trade Conforto, Estrada, and Wade, and DFA Flores and Luke Jackson. Call up Schmidt, Luciano, Bivins. Trade for Vladdy Jr. use the prospects to get him.

vaughn has a career 0.7 war in 504 games with a 100 ops+. he’s not a good player at all.

I wouldn't trade for Andrew Vaughn. Gives no visible upgrade to Wade/Flores. Jazz Chisholm could be a decent fit depending on what you give up to get him.
