This is a perfect example why Ken has always been my favorite... Ryu is more smooth with the form, but Ken is more wild/aggressive and I liked him for that as if Ken were Blanka trying to fight like Ryu lol. Although the handler of this Ken seems intermediate at best because once you perfect the timing/combo starters, etc., you literally could keep the opponent in the air non stop, and even kick them back up/off the ground if they fell and literally continue the timed/precision attacks until KO/perfect lol ... I was one of those dudes who could do such endless combos on the original super ness and later SF releases in other consoles, and get this, I don't know if y'all remember or ever knew the hack that allowed you to do multi combo Shu-ryu-ken and it's one single KO hit ... I KO'd so many on the original SNES with that one multi combo S-R-K using the heavy or high punch and it's amazing to see how it cleans-out their entire life bar as-in, one hit perfect... I was feared for this move even by some of the best players ever because it only took one hit of-course lol.

0:56 Did… Did he just bait that heavy kick??
@LDPRxPS3x1 Жыл бұрын
Either that or he predicted a roundstart move and got it wrong but recovered early enough to make up for it. I hope it's the former, though. That's more badass fr

This is how a online match should be. I watched many pro fights and it's just painful to watch. They could have easily won like this Ken player but nope they choose things like sportsman ship respect etc also trying to extend the video length. FFS , just follow this Ken player, this is how a match should be.

oohh, is the first player i see fully understading not only the character gameplay but the game mechanics too, good player!!

Insane reads, perfect parrys, shimmy timing, execution... Violent Ken at its best
@MTDMeditations Жыл бұрын
Timing, Recovery Speed, and Move Lag. once you master this you can be top tier. Timing is Key, Recovery speed is key, This means when your opponents icon/character is standing. You have like a 1.2 second Window to continue to punish or they can react and block. its why this ken always walls them. its easier to hit combos off the walls and time things. The Wall impact has many benefits.

Your ken is def world tournament level you are indeed in the TOP 10 worldwide no doubt about it. you should run for evo this year.
@JohnSmith-rr3jt Жыл бұрын
I very much doubt he would make it out of pools since his entire offense is abusing net code and people who don't know the match-up lol.

@@JohnSmith-rr3jt netcode is fine in sf6. Most his opponents are wired. And i highly doubt any master player out there doesn't know the ken matchup lol.

@@HellHunterKiriubecause people have been stepping up their game an adapting well. The new generation of gamers have made guys like Daigo less spectacular. It’s not that he isn’t great, it’s that everyone else is also great now

@@sunshinekid7799I'll never see the new guys coming up as that good and it's just cuz now days every one gets a short cut because of the internet KZbinrs and twitch streamers will tell u or show u what to do when Daigos was on top there wasn't any learning outside you and your boys and your local arcade real grinding 1 frame links and all, so really the games been made easier not really that ppl are getting way better
@sunshinekid7799 Жыл бұрын
@@jordanstanfield7361 That’s just you being biased. Even if they have KZbin and other ways to inform themselves they STILL have to put in the work to get there. You are speaking from a nostalgia pov. Daigo was once probably the best, but no he’s just a great player in a game full of great players.

There is. There's alot you can do. But if you don't know what to do, this happens. Of course conditioning comes into play ALOT especially in longer games. You can perfect parry alot of this stuff.
@morninglift1253 Жыл бұрын
Then, you're not understanding how to play. This Ken is constantly anticipating his opponents several times a match. That's why it's so impressive.

@zenymolly Жыл бұрын
@@TinyMeatGaang 50/50 won 3:55 .is it fair enough to start a match without hp bar and in a corner just because of a coinflip? im not even talking about those resets with an overhead that he can cancel into a combo) such a dumb mechanic, but still, it is impressive that he mastered this character that far, when the game came out a month ago
@TinyMeatGaang Жыл бұрын
@whysoevil I'm pretty sure he did the corner stuff the round before so I'd have parry in my mind to try it. Remember parry beats/cancels over head reset and DI reset. The round start stuff is hard to deal with tho since one of DeeJays strength is the double fireball
