They buffed fundamentals Honda and nerfed scrub killer Honda.

Very happy, the buffs allow him to play actual neutral with the rest of the cast, especially the stand medium punch buff. and buttslam creating a scramble is huge, system mechanics like drive reversal on wakeup are also huge for him. Dont even get me started on cr.mk being more + oh, because honda can now catch people walking back and combo it into st mp bc of the buffs, buttslam being a hard knockdown is huge for meaty overhead/delayed overhead command grab setups, and furthermore the st mp 3hk target combo buff where you can cancel it into hands lets you be +13 off a juggle with it max, so if you delay it a little bit you have a meaty st mp thats +8 on hit. The back hit of sweep combo is done by launcher into drive rush 5hk then cancel first hit into drive rush sweep, this is a 4 bar side switch that you used to only be able to level 1/3 after, but now you get hands after which is cool. Overall these buffs are huge im super excited

I might be the only one who thinks it but I think the so called "nerf" to headtbut no longer going all the way across the screen is kind of a buff for him, rather than a nerf. I mean he no longer has to work his way back in and its not simple to punish. Too early yet as I have done no practice but from a glance it looks like if you guessed right that it was a heavy headbutt, then did a back jump you might be able to punish it.

10:45 As a Juri main this change looks awesome. Haven't labbed it yet, but based on this spacing in the clip, Juri's neutral jump HK which hits both sides can blow that up no problem with a massive punish. nj.HK > HP > etc

The input issue is because the target combo is bugged, it should work with all versions of the buff but only works with HK version.

@@Stinkyremy The input for the buff is 22K. Doesn't matter what version of K you use, its the same buff. But for some reason, when you cancel TC combo into it, you have to input 22HK or else it won't work.

@@semantik95you don’t use the regular input, the target combo has a third portion now. Not a bug

Thanks for all that. First character change vid I've watched since he's my main from watching guides, training, etc. 🙂 Haven't got online yet, but if I ever do, it'll be interesting w/only using the improved version in vs. Good vid.
