actually the old developer never actually cononized Shantae's age. I've searched alternatively and they said her age is unknown because they never gave her a canon age.

I think it's better this way. It would be more appropriate for the game character not to be known at all, instead of turning into enemies after all the unnecessary fights between the fan base and the artist base, just because of his age. I don't complain too much about a game character's age because they're not real.
