Annoying piano playing over her speaking. Incredibly insulting to her and the viewer.

why the annoying an unnecessary piano music that competes with Frankenthaler's narrative?

One of my favorites, she learned her stain technique from Pollack before his parson’s show opened brought there by Clement Greenberg her boyfriend and influential art critic. Because she thinned the paint so much her work is subject to fading and cracking where too much pigment pools in an area. The biggest criticism of her work was that it was too beautiful, can you imagine?

It's really pathetic how she manages to talk almost pseudo intellectually and kind of snobbishly about these arguably rather deplorable paintings. She comes across like a completely undignified fool. Really tough to watch.
