Even though it is just a video game, very similarly Christ, the chosen one, came to the world to save us from the eternal damnation, just like the dragon borne saved skyrim from Alduin. There are many similarities with Christianity and old Norse mythology, in fact in all religions there are many similarities. You just have to look at them with an open mind.

Pardon for the reply, but the Dovakhiin is actually a Shezzarine; the Dovakhiin title contradicts established lore. The "Dovakhiin" is not a son of Akatosh.

I arranged the piece for the choir and I can't disagree with this. This piece was brutally hard with 6 parts, no patterns from verse to verse to help memorize notes or words, and practice had to happen between homework and exams. Still, we did our best to double our usual practice time on the piece! The original recording is sung by 30 men, tripled in post to sound like 90 men. We can't quite match those numbers - but we're working hard for more to join us in the Fall semester!

This song had nothing to do with sovnegarde, but its more about heroic tale of dragonborn. I know its play during sovngarde section but it says nothing about the realm itself. One of the verse include pray and blessing for the dragonborn in his quest** so it make even more plausible to sing it at the church lol. **Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin, naal ok zin los vahriin, Wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal! @JRexRegis4 жыл бұрын
Mad respect for these people. They're in a choir, which already takes some massive self-confidence, then they do a public performance, which ups that once more, and then they're singing a song in a fictional language which doesn't have a full translation. And on top of that there's a few who know the song so well they don't even have to look at the lyrics. We all wish we could be chads as great as that entire choir.

There are so many ba...I mean not so great choirs attempting to sing Sons of Skyrim or this piece but this choir honestly suprised me. Normally it would take 90 skilled male singers to perform a song like this while retaining the epicness the originals carry but you managed to give me goosebumps anyway.
