+Diaboloshadowkill I get where he is coming from. Ken is not played at the ranges youw would usually play him. He is extremely good at long range though his fireball suck balls, he sucks at mid range, footsie range, and is decent applying pressure, but you need to know what buttons to push and read your opponent. I'm still learning to play him and at first I felt like I could not do a thing because I wanted to play footsies, and he only has his crouching medium punch for that (which is really good). But now I'm starting to wrap my heard around his gameplay and he really is good. And a Ken player must activate his v-trigger. It is super helpfull. The possibility to absorb a fireball with his tatsu during v-trigger is very needed against Ryu.

I feel that Ken is stronger in this game than Ryu. While Ryu definitely does more damage, Ken has so much more confirms because of c.MP > target combo as well as heavies > V skill > L. Tatsu. Fireballs are pretty bad in this game so his far range game isn't affected that much anyway and his dashes cover for his longer range neutral game anyway. His V-trigger is up there with M. Bison as far as getting damage conversions go too, unlike Ryu who needs to make more risky plays to get burst damage.

i have one rival/friend on sf, in sf4 i use vega as my main, and can fight pretty even with him, but in sf5, he just keeps destroying my vega because he was too weak against ryu, now i discover ken and realize he's the only character i know of being on par with ryu.

+Elven King don't hold your breath, the execution of the movesets have been designed as to not interfere with buffering so adding new ones in would mean having to choose between one or the other. And because CA's are used as combo enders with vtrigger being the utility skill there wouldn't be much added to the game with a new set of CA's.

Stuff like this annoys me... This is information that should be on the disk. Instead they put that stupid useless tutorial. This is what Capcom needs to have to allow players to have something to practice on. Add footies, blocking training, make it interactive so players can practice while they are learning, because causal players won't go on the Internet to look for information... They just give up and stop playing

Here's a funny combo you can practice: J.HK, C.HP, HADOKEN, V-TRIGGER, cr.MP, L.Tatsu, H.Shoryu, Critical Art It only works in the corner but there are variations to make it work anywhere, this foe example: (right after initiating V-TRIGGER) MK-HK TARGET COMBO, Critical Art. Have all of the funs.

Not typically used since you'll be holding a direction down for buffering purposes 98% of the time. The only time you really leave the stick in the neutral position is while playing the footsies game and throwing off your opponent's sense of distancing.

America Eagle I don't care if SF5 is a demo. I seen the gameplay footage here on KZbin. The Street Fighter 4 series is WAY better than the Street Fighter 5 series because Street Fighter 4 has focus attacks, armor breaks, and vice versa. Ever since SF5 was made, the good stuff from SF4 was removed.
