SFV Season 4.5 + V-Skill 2 - Stuff I missed

Know this is late af but 3:50 tested the entire cast (before season 5 characters) and it works mid screen on the following 6 - Gief, rashid, necali, zeku (old and young) chun-li and Laura. I find it weird how it works on gief but not abi or even G. Hopefully this helps someone who doesn’t already know :)

Congrats on going back to school, Bafael! Good luck with that man! Certainly not going to ask if you're going to make more videos, beyond possible Gill and Seth guides, since you usually do that for new characters, but I never got the chance to write in the G video, since I didn't you'd make this that fast, that Dangerous President's Command Grab, G Rage, lost 2 frames of hit advantage. I never touched V-Trigger II before CE, so I don't know if it means much, since they buffed the Trigger as a whole immensely, especially since it directly synergizes with G Protection, but as a G player, I thought I'd at least ask what you thought about it. Also, go un-tank that Social life, you've earned it!

Chunli also has a side switch with her V-Skill I. After VSI, delay her air fierce to put the enemy in a juggle state and then dash under. You can finish the combo with stomp, stomp, H air legs.

After Juri's medium Fuha cr.MP into heavy DP works aswell, even in the combo that you showed in the video. Crouching MP into heavy DP dosen't work on any range though, but the combo you did in the video, with st.MK, does less damage but therefore works on every range, so when you're unsure if cr.MP into heavy DP won't connect or you're simply not in the range, do st.MK into heavy DP. Also Juri's VS2 is not only a frame trap after her heavy Fuha, the same applies for light and medium Fuha aswell. Trades with 3 frames, wins against 4 frames.

she was always able to dp after st mk... it was just harder to do, i've tried her vs2 for 4 days now, I went back to vs1, I don't like that I can't move while charging it and it goes away on hit. If only I knew which side I was on when It antiairs lol. I've been using v trigger 2 a lot in casuals, its definitely worse then VT1 but its not as bad ppls say, especially when you know how to space her fireball for walk and dash pressure

@@aspreedacore yeah, heavy DP always worked after st.MP-st.MK, but before not all the hits of the DP would connect and it would overall do less damage than medium Flipkick. Now it's worth going for that combo

Something I found for Chun. VT1 activate after h.legs (maybe all versions) is +9 from +6 on hit, giving her better conversions from up close after activating. Also, the change to Chun's h.legs has made her oki slightly worse after her VS1 bnb. Ending your combo with h.legs after VS1 kick will leave you at -2 after double dashing. So, every combo that you would end with h.legs has slightly worse oki, even VT2 activate combos. But for the most part, you should be able to dash once and walk up and pressure with little to no problem since Chun's walk speed is one of the best in the game. EX legs isn't affected by this though. That's all I can think of :)

Actually, I messed up. You can still double dash after VS1 bnbs if you end with h.legs. But, VT2 activate combos are still affected by this, unless you activate off of EX legs since it launches them higher in the air. But, you can get more damage from activating off of EX legs anyway, so unless you have no spare meter after activating, this is still good to keep in mind.

You forgot to mention that Akuma red fireball after VS2 doesn’t build any ex meter. I did point out under the akuma vs2 video but it was after a somewhat long rant so it is understandable that you didn’t see it. It also doesn’t mean much at this point because even if it did build ex meter it would still be useless. The only matchup it could potentially be useful in is against Sagat. But I didn’t test it yet.

the only imaginable use i can come up with fur hazanshu OTG is to punish players no-rising the knockdown from EX legs to avoid a VT2 guard break. beyond that the V-skill seems completely useless compared to what she gets from VS1.

Unfortunately not only does it fail to combo on CC sweep xx VT2, it also isn't fast enough to combo from a CC sweep that isn't cancelled. So it only works after CC sweep xx VT1. Cool thought about catching people dodging the guard break though. That's actually a true 50-50 on characters in the corner who don't have an invincible reversal, although it takes a bar to set up, the OTG isn't super rewarding, and Chun Li looks pretty stupid if she guesses wrong in either direction.
