Yes, you do not want the league / refs to dictate the game, but also, one - don't give them a reason too and two - it's their job. Coach should have been ejected at the very least tech. Murray should have been ejected since he wasn't now he should be suspended. No way a former athlete (mccoy) believes an injury has to happen so that a player can be disciplined and Joy didn't even know what she was talking about, so her point was wrong from the start. Yes, it was out of character for Murray, but that shouldn't stop a one game suspension. He didn't yell at a ref, he (a player) purposely threw something on the court.
