SG-1's New Team Leader is Colonel Makepeace (Dial the Gate)

THE CLASSIC STARGATE SG-1 episode "Shades of Grey" shocked viewers when it first aired, with Richard Dean Anderson's Colonel Jack O'Neill being summarily dismissed from his position after getting fed up with the Tollan and stealing their advanced technology. As the story plays out Jack joins a rogue operation off-world, and SG-1 gets a new team leader in SG-3's Colonel Makepeace.
Reading the script for the episode was an experience for actor Steve Makaj, as he explains in this clip from "Dial the Gate." After three seasons in a support role, was it finally time for Makepeace to step up and get a promotion?

Rip to the actor who played Baal 😢 I've watched many of his episodes, he was charming, endearing and well loved. In fact, with Ra who was more of a "child like" premise God of the Jaffa he was very comical. Nefatiri who created the human Anubis clone, and the society who basically and this is a dark(so please don't block what I have to say)that society would download what the children have learned from the othersiders like Sam/Real/Jackson and then "erase or lobotomize the children, making them not remember who they are but they are twjen care of like elderly people later after the surgery. I believe only one person absorbs all the consciousness of others experiences and memories stored. But back to Baal he was a great character: I didn't care too much from the god Apopis the writers didn't allow him to grow as a villain. I loved the system Lords arc and Dr weir episodes past and future versions: sg1, Atlantis and her being an ancient arc those were S tier episodes... Senator Kelly was "Acquired" taste, you could not hate him, he was a true American who kept secrets for a legitimate reason .. even though he was stupid to give a guy like Unpresident amount of leeway

Long winded comment. I sometimes come to your channel, and I always let the ads play through as a thank you for when your site was THE place to go, and the devotion thereof. I'll say that was before it got swallowed up by Wiki something. I came here today thinking "Oh Boy, there will be something coming after the two movies." I do not have cable.. But I was fooled by your title, inferring "up coming" instead of "previous episode." You can log this as a complaint for false titles.(...NEW...IS...) Gave an upvote regardless. 2 movies? 3. I also have the DVD of the original with Goldies husband, but no episodes do I own. As for those final 2 movies, I've played them so often, I have to put a nickle on the tone arm. (not old enough to understand that one?)
