I've been using the SG 553 since high school (I'm a senior in college) cause I realized it was way better then the AK about 6 years ago. Honestly I can't think of any other words to describe people who played the game seriously and didn't use it as either stubborn or stupid (probably a bit of both). It still is mind boggling how so many people with 1000's of hours never bothered to check if the third T rifle was good or not. There's only 3, you had time to check. Reminds me of that movie MoneyBall where back in 2008, two guys figured out that everyone who played baseball basically had no idea what they were doing.

Also I think you need to mention time to kill in more of your videos. It was good that we got a visual comparison but an actual value in milliseconds for time to kill is so important when comparing weapons. Especially when a weapons shots to kill or fire rate is changed. I know the SG has a lower fire rate now, but I would like to know how much longer it will take to kill compared to the M4. Same for when comparing the M4's to the AUG or the Bizon to other smg's. Just saying that it's damage or fire rate is greater or it does more damage really doesn't say everything. Still love your vids and find them the most informative. Keep up the good work and thanks!

Dude, Mag-7 is kinda shit. I can't even count the times I did a point blank range shot at the chest and take 33 damage. Yeah, you're right about the jump shots, but only if you're really close to your opponent and land a headshot. Otherwise, it's useful at certain situation, but it just feels pretty random

@@user-mc5pl6xk9x I can't count the amount of times I've held B aps alone with just a mag7 and nades. It is in fact great at going where you're aiming. Sure, sometimes it messes you up at close range, but I've found it way better if you aim for the chest instead of the head, that way, the spread will hit the enemy more and could even end up headshotting, while aiming for the head could land just 1 pellet, the rest simply missing because of spread.

@@Boarhaven It was by no means underpowered. The 1 tap headshot is incredibly strong once you get to higher ranks and know where to aim and it's ALSO able to kill in 2-3 body hits. No matter if you have a long distance fight or close range fight, you stand a very good chance of getting a kill - at least assuming you know where to aim. If you actually think it was underpowered because it took too long to reset when shooting it, you probably spammed it wayyyy too hard or simply wanted to make the deagle incredibly overpowered.

Not really... The R8 is more of a scout. The Deagle at very long distances sometimes needs 4 or even 5 shots to kill... The Scout at ANY range takes 2 shots to kill. The R8 is the same, any range it's a 2 shooter. The R8 can one tap on the head through the doors mid on dust 2 from T spawn (or from CT mid), just like the scout. The deagle from this distance through walls does minimal damage.

U guys just don't understand I think.. If valve wants SG to 1tap headshot people then it should be mooore expensive and not cheaper than m4 if I can't 1 shot with it.. Last game I was playing inferno as CT I peek banana, I had faster reflex, I hit his head for 67 in 1 with M4 for 3100$ and he one shotet me, crouching whole time and zoomed in whole time like total noob with stupid SG for 117 in 1... That's simply not balanced... :-) U play mirage, peeking from ramp doing push 30sec left to the round, smokes everything and guys with AUGs are ducking like tards in smoke on CT, zoomed in, waiting for smoke to vanish... Like 0 brain, 0 skill.. And it's kinda frustrating that skilled players are getting rekt from total noobs just crouching zoomed in whole round and one taping people.. :-) that's not balance, there is no longer beauty of this game, where you actually needed to have some knowledge.. Since it's free to play, I have in 8 out of 10 games team which don't even know what's is ECO round or they don't have any idea of economy in CSgo, they just speaking whole match in whatever language right into the game (why would you download discord etc.) or they have discord but they don't give info into game and it's just a buy every round, sg/Aug, duck and zoom no Kevlar everywhere.. Not even starting to speak about hitboxes sometimes lel.. I still can't get over the SG553 nerf. I was using this gun almost all the time since 2015. I always said that it was better than the AK but back then everybody laughed at me for using Call of Duty gun. There wasn't a single game without someone commenting and bellitling me becouse of my gun choice. When pros finally realised it's potential after all those years, i was happy. I was right about this gun all the way back in 2015 when even pro players didn't care about it, and haven't noticed it's potential. I was the original SG player, the veteran of the gun, and that made me feel proud. But i was foolish to think that this was good news. SG has been brutally murdered in this patch. It's worse than ak in almost every possible way now, and i truly believe valve nerfed it way too much. I feel like losing a close friend, and with that gun gone, a big part of my love for the game is gone as well.

Coming from 1.6 where they were clearly not a match for the Ak and M4, I was surprised, but in a good way. While the AUG and SG were better, there was still a balance, AK and M4 makes you move faster, reload faster and they are stronger against unarmored opponents, and also, they were cheaper by a flash and smoke/he respectively. There WAS balance. Now? Not anymore... Well, the AUG is still good and useful, the SG however is not. Lost my go to weapon and part of me died with it in this game. I like to rely on my aim to get that headshot, and not on LUCK because of the goddamn AK innacuracy from a distance longer than long doors to long pit.

Call me crazy, but I don't think the Tec-9 got that big of a boost. However, the SG 553 has now become useless, as opposed to balanced. It's incredibly unreliable because of the massive decrease of the rate of fire. If they let the fire rate alone, and changed the damage, it would be a little more balanced. 1 hit hs, sure. 25 instead of 30 stomach, and legs.. well, we don't care about legs. (What I am trying to say is, that months worth of aim training with the SG have now been thrown right out of the window. - or out of the map, in CSGO's case.)

My take on the update: I mean I've always used the m4a1-s. It felt better and idk more precise. So I'll keep my silenced m4 with me. I have a cz for both t and ct, now I have a tec-9 and cz. And I almost always used a sg, I hate its spray pattern but still used it. I'll definitely main AK now, I'll use the sg as a scout with a good fire rate, only for specific cases.I will not be jump shooting with the deagle, I've been already killed many times jumping on B on mirage. The Aug is still ok, I sometimes use it, nothing will change in terms of my use of the Aug.

People say that Krieg was a problem, how so? When I played, nobody used it, those that did never got their gun picked up by CTs. When I played scrims with friends and watched them play (DMGs+) I seen very little SGs. So I don't understand the nerf

I have been saying since around 2014, that SG553 was the best assault rifle in the game ; people called me n00b and silver. I am glad it took about 6 years, and a price reduction, for the "pros" to figure it out. And they did the price reduction on purpose, so people can spam the gun > made everyone aware that the weapon is strong > "ohhh, too strong, let's destroy it completely !". Cause and effect, huh ? I am wondering though, just for...the sake of it ; when will they fucking bring M249 into...meta ? Because that gun is no more than a meme gun (the old negev-like) with that price. They should make M249, 3 500$ (or alright, maybe 3 800$) and see how it plays out. I say this about M249 because...I sort of like MGs in FPS games. :D When will they do something new ? Like, new guns ? Underused guns being placed into play again ?! These back-forth buffs & nerfs they do, like the Tec-9, are getting repetitive. Just like Dota updates. Same heroes that used to have certain skill numbers before a patch, gets it back again a few months later. CS is no different ! And then they, and the people, wonder...why is CS "dying" ? PS: I am still waiting for hostage maps (rework) to be played in pro plays. I am tired of the same, detonation maps, and the same tactics, and the same tricks...that they keep doing it since I started watching pros play in tournaments.

The overreaction on the Deagle buff is so ridiculous. People are talking about how ridiculous it is but I have yet to see anyone actually abuse the new deagle mechanics, since it is very hard to use mid air. You are only accurate at the peak of your jump while not moving horizontally, which makes you a massive target when actually attempting to jump shot with the deagle. Furthermore it is only accurate for very close range. I only see it being useful on Dust 2 A site, since all other common jumpshot positions will just get you shot out of the air. There was a tweet from Ropz who basically said the same. Give it some time and I don't think we will be seeing a lot of deagle jumpshots.

This was always the weirdest thing to me. I gave CSGO a couple of shots in the past, and each time I found myself drawn to the SG and the AUG and people would always make fun of me, belittle me or just straight up rage that I didn't use the AK and M4 and I eventually just kinda gave up. Seeing them both being used competitively and now being nerfed and touched up gives me a bit of validation all these years later I guess.

It's annoying how the CT guns are more expensive, they dropped the price on the SG a while back, they should've done the same to the AUG, seeing how for example OFFICE is very T sided, a lower priced AUG would help out the CTs. Either way, not happy about the SG change. Also I've been a Tec9 fan and stuck with it even through its Nerfed phase, glad it's better! And imagine slight gun adjustments, nobody could ever tell! :D

My suggestion for Valve would be: Make the M4A4 a one hit kill to the head from close distance. Then I would increase the A1-S's price back to 3,100 and increase the rate of fire to 666 rpm and the magazine size to 30 rounds. In order to not make it too overpowered I'd decrease the damage if you use the silencer. Yes, I know, modern silencers don't slow the bullet down, but it is a suggestion to improve the gameplay, furthermore it would give players a reason to take the silencer off. If 2 players with full health, 1 with an AK and 1 with the M4 start shooting at each other at the same time (bodyshots), the AK guy would win as it takes 0.4 seconds to kill an armored player with an AK (600 rpm, 4 hits) and 0.45 seconds with an M4 (666 rpm, 5 hits). I would increase the Krieg's Firerate back to 666, but severely decrease it when scoped, same for the AUG (maybe even change the firing mode to semi-auto). I would introduce a "new" pistol to replace the glock (like USP-S and P2000): A single beretta. You can buy the second one for 200 dollars, that way players may start using it again. It would be still too expensive to buy dualies if you want to have armor on pistol round, however, if a teammate drops you his because he buys a deagle or something, you'll be able to. In order to not make them too op, the accuracy should be decreased. The single beretta should fire slower than the glock but be more accurate, but not as accurate as the USP-S. Of course, I am no expert and some of my suggestions may be complete trash.

I am gonna add more info for the weapons: Sg553: Even with the decreased firerate the gun can still kill faster than an m4 except from an Aug in close range. Because of this it is possible we might see Aug used. The sg still has the scope which still has superior accuracy more than the m4. I kinda like this change because it didn't make sense to have a gun that kills faster than the ak AND has better accuracy. Aug: Like I said in the Sg553 section we might see more play if cts have a lot of money. M4A1-S: This is a really significant change. It makes Ct second round ecos much durable. If you don't get a kill and you full save then third round assuming you had 2050 dollars 2nd round, 3rd round you have 4450. You have to buy a helmet because terrorists might not upgrade smgs. Before you could only afford the m4 and helmet and a smoke. Now you can afford a kit or a smoke and a flash. Deagle: Valve was smoking something here. Now it has same accuracy as the mac 10 in the jump apex. Have fun with you jump deags. Tec 9: Definitely gonna be used more. Cz is crap even at mid range while the Tec 9 has the superior accuracy. Bizon: I am happy that Valve is paying attention to it. However the armor penetration buff was not enough. It still doesn't kill faster than the mac 10 or MP9 and it's more expensive. The Mp7 is still superior to it. The mp5 however is not since they both do almost the same damage. Sorry bizon.

The death of Valorant may be quicker than you think. Just go to r/GlobalOffensive. There's really nice thread how the Valorant anti-cheat access your kernel, which starts the program immediately after you turn your PC on, even if you deleted Valorant. This causes slowing your computer and (that one is not confirmed) potentially stealing your data. Other thing, wrong about the anti-cheat is (this one has been confirmed) can make a hacker get admin rights on your system just by hacking the shitty anti-cheat. And the irony is that even with so much "security", the Valorant AC couldn't detect 4 cheaters in the beta. Good job, Riot Games!

There's two major differences between Jumpscout and Newdeag that make the Newdeag far more powerful. Jumpscout was effective at long ranges, mid at cache comes to mind, meaning the shots attempted were lower probability to begin with, and had less effect on the game over all. Newdeag is really powerful up close, not needing to scope makes it far more viable inside of bombsites, rather than being limited only long distance encounters. This is compounded by the Newdeag having a high jump accuracy during the full jump Arc, rather than only when falling like the Jumpscout. That delay meant that you needed to expose yourself for half the duration of your jump cycle before you could fire. That allowed AWPs to have the upper hand even when the opponent was jumpscouting. With the Newdeag, you can fire at any point in the jump cycle, giving the person with the deag a *massive* advantage over every other weapon in a position like kookli (no idea how that's spelled). Newdeag is going to break CT retakes on Dust II A-site completely. Jumpscout never broke an entire bombsite like the Newdeag will.

Also, the deagle is still a secondary. So if you wanted to jump scout you were stuck with only the scout (and maybe a CZ) for the rest of the round. With the new deagle, you could use an AK or M4 the whole round until you needed to jump shoot, and then go right back to your rifle.
