Oh Killer Instinct... ...A Game Series I thought I wouldn't love... ...Until I met the Reboot, (Season 1ish-Season 2), and fell completely in Love with it (And as a result, made me respect the series) Unfortunately, those days are gone, but I have hope we'll meet again...

Ahhh nostalgia. If it wasn't mortal kombat i would play all the bloody time, it was absolutely killer instinct 1 and 2. I loved the speed, the flashiness and the amazing soundtrack and it was _never_ not satisfying to ultra combo someone to death. This game really showed me that if a melee combo does not have any effect on an enemy i probably should not use it

Awesome video I have been waiting for you guys to play KI since you first mentioned it years ago. Anyways Greg is right about easy combo breakers I believe its hold down and start on the vs logo in the arcade version on both players the announcer will say "combo breaker" instead of "fight on" and combo breakers are in theory easier to do (I still had trouble with them even with this cheat so thats why I said in theory). Also I never heard of an Xbox softmod that you use the cd ripper in order to get into it, when I softmodded my xbox a couple of years ago I just had to have a disc not in the tray in order for it to launch the custom dashboard. Can't wait to see you guys play KI 2.

Ah yes, Killer Instinct 1. The fighting game where nearly everyone was a charge character (except you Spinal, you're frustrating). Sabrewulf will always be my main, as hitting killer and ultra combos were easy as hell to do.

I suck at any fighting game (except Smash) but I did get Killer Instinct Gold, mostly because I wanted to complete my N64 Rareware collection (which I did) but I thought maybe through that game I could possibly try to get into more traditional fighting games. I was wrong, I cannot play fighting games for the life of me.

I have not touched the Killer Instinct game on the Xbox One (I don't really like Xbox so that's unfortunate of me). I am FAR more familiar with Killer Instinct *GOOOOOOOOOLD* ....on the N64. lol I have not touched the original KI either, but I'll play Killer Instinct *GOLD* anytime~ (I should check out KI2 even though it's pretty much the same as KIG. Although KIG is missing some voice clips from KI2 for some characters, most stages look different, and the sound quality is a little lower than KI2 which was higher. I will say this about the new KI: The soundtrack is KICKASS.
