I love this game, mainly because it was what i played in my childhood. Im doing it as an Lp at the moment, my first Lp no doubt, btw you guys should lp a couple of crash games since they are quite popular, such as crash bash, crash team racing, crash tag team racing and crash mind over mutant or wrath of the titans (they are the bad newer crah games but at least one of them is 2 player i remember)

I don't know if this will be of any interest to you, but believe or not you can actually use the Dazzle on the SNES. The SNES(Well the brick one at least) has a second Video out Port that uses the same/accepts the video out cable of the PS1. I thought it was worth mention and anyone that catches this may be delighted to know the SNES can be still used for another thing aside from casual gaming.

It's funny, both the Kart Racing games for Mario and Crash for this generation had a broken weight system. In Crash Team Racing, the Heavy characters were overpowered because they were the fastest and the shit handling could easily be ignored if you knew how to drift. In Mario Kart 64, the Lightweight characters (Toad, Yoshi and Peach,) had the best Acceleration AND Speed, whereas the Heavy characters had the worst Acceleration and Speed and their only advantage was that they can ram smaller characters to make them spin out. tl;dr: Heavy Characters are overpowered in CTR, but horrible in MK64.

In Mario Kart Super Circuit for the GBA Peach and Toad were broken too since they have good speed, acceleration, and handling. Good thing in the sequels, (starting with MK DD SMK too. but that's the first MK game)they balanced the karts with Lightweights having good acceleration off-road and having good handling but low speed while heavyweights have superior speed and weight but the majority of their stats suck.

All Star Racing Transformed < Crash Team Racing. But both are good for Smackdown Sunday. Also Mark was actually right. You can run other players over with the engine. It will stomp the player like a pancake just like Matt during the 2nd race in Dingo Canyon.
