SGC App Overview: Best Grading App Ever?

What do you think of SGC?

I rarely see their slabs in the UK (for both Football & TCG); even the local companies have a bigger market share locally.

@@FranklyCollecting I would assume so since I’ve always heard they are the best for vintage sports (Baseball).

Have you graded any Pokémon with SGC?

I have not. Only my Star Wars 1/1s. I have bought quite a few Star Wars SGC cards though. With Pokemon, I mainly buy PSA because they are so entrenched with PSA market-wise. SGC seems mainly big with sports and Topps Star Wars. However, I would not hesitate to get an SGC 10 of a TCG card I like. I think they look amazing in the slab, and I would love to see them continue to grow in the market with Pokemon and other TCG cards.

Didn't PSA buy SGC?

I think Collectors Universe or whatever parent company who owns PSA bought SGC, or something like that, but whatever happened my understanding is SGC is still business as usual. I sure hope so because they have been my favorite grading company.
