You should go on Dan Fraga's Couchdoodles show and have him do one of his Master Series interviews with you. He has interviewed other guys like Todd Mcfarlane, Mike Mignola, Lary Hama, Kim Jung Gi and tons more and is releasing them slowly. Sometimes pre-recorded, sometimes live, They are great, and you guys both have awesome campaigns going on right now, you could boost each others signal and bring fans together.

I saw your tweet about The Plot Holes being your Hellboy and I'm so in. Can't wait for the pitch where Kevin has to go find his long lost buddy Cobbes, who is also Roars long lost brother. I also scanned through my Tokyo Ghost Deluxe Edition and I don't think I've ever been this excited for a new book.

Just needed to say that I would buy a John Wick graphic novel written and drawn by you day one. Also, I’m can’t wait for Plot Holes. I love the character variety and back stories.

Your art style has a very distinct look. It reminds me of Syd Mead’s work. I really enjoyed Chrononauts and decided to back The Plot Holes. I went with the hard cover edition because including your signature is a great personal touch. Keep up the exquisite work.

I'm all in on The Plot Holes Sean! At first I ordered the soft cover edition. Then when the hardcover went up I canceled the soft cover to upgrade with the prints. I'm so excited for the characters and how all these different genres act together. (Ps you doing a John Wick type of a book would also be badass. Please do that down the road!)

Similar concept to that Ben Stiller movie 'Night at the Museum'. I'm glad I backed it.

Looking forward to this! Kicking myself that I didn’t back the original art tier. And yes, I remember Ugly Kid Joe and Kid Death.

You sold me on Ugly Kid Joe and For Better or Worse. Holy lord, your book sounds like you used my early years as an origin story haha

I wasnt sure what this story really was, and really meta stories are usually a turn off for me, but after this explanation your book seems fun and I might back it on pay day. PS consider jumping on a crowd funding live stream, those are a lot of fun to watch!
@aimeemorris53964 жыл бұрын
Sean you really should talk to Cartoonist Kayfabe. The guys are incredibly dedicated as you are. Super meta with sincere opinions and have a great following on KZbin. It would give everybody a great opportunity to hear your side on your history in comics and give the campaign a great push.They refer to it as the "Kayfabe Effect"Could really kick ass all around!!!

Yeah as a french customer I was really bumed by the very expensive shipping but there is no way I don't back this up... so i'll settle for the soft cover for now and try to get the artist edition with my comic Shop

So like a never ending story, quantum leap, exiles, and guardians of the galaxy? Yeah I’m in. Would have backed it already but have to get this at the beginning of the month. Wish I could get it when it came out. Would have backed the Skype call perk and made you give me the tour of the Z inside out and a quick rip. This sounds cool to me. Can’t wait

Well, totally got the premise of literary characters living in their own "books" as worlds...but mostly because Elon pointed out this is all just a simulation of a simulation last summer, and its stuck with me ever since.

Respect for doing the riskier book. Would love to see a John Wick by you too. Also, more making fun of French people, please.

SGM, do you know in what way this video is Spielbergian? Just curious if it's deliberate or if it's what we in water colors call happy accidents.

The lighting?
@kentjensen45044 жыл бұрын
Sean Gordon Murphy clever man! Yes, Spielberg loves putting practicals, actual lamps or other light sources in the frame, and if he has no such light source he’ll typically overexpose certain elements, making them the light source. It creates a subtle glare, tricking the viewer into focusing more on making out what’s happening, pulling us into the scene.

Sean, have you read Robert A. Heinlein's 'The Cat Who Walks Through Walls'? It has a metatextual element, where the characters learn they are up against an Author.

I’m hype for Le Razior and Johnny Manga. Also I’m surprised to hear you’ve never read manga b4. I suggest reading All You Need is Kill. The movie Edge of Tomorrow is based off it but the book is much better.

Still not sold, guess ill take my 'tiny tiny mind' someplace else. Not the best choice of words there. Ill keep watching but yeah European shipping is keeping me off this really. Its more than I've seen from any CG book.
