SGP409 Overcurrent and Unrestricted Earth Fault Relay

sir you have connected CTs in star when winding is also star.. However in your earlier lecture you told star side contains delta connected CT and vice versa. Does it is only applicable to Differential protection schemes. and if yes than we connect different CTs for each type of protection ?

In case of unbalanced load,the sum of all three phases current are not equal to zero.In that case earth fault relay will operate

Nice explanation sir. I had a doubt that in case of a ground fault, for example suppose, at A phase there is a fault , in that case fault current passes through A phase CT or all the three CTs ???? Please answer sir🙏

Dear sir, for unrestricted earth fault low stage 20% setting means, when the relay will operate. Weather 20℅ of full load current will flow through neutral path ?

Sir,in case of balanced fault (3 phase to ground),the zero sequence component will be zero.In that case,how will the earth fault relay operate as there is no zero sequence component to pass throug it

Iñcase of earth fault the ckt is complted thru earth fault relay and o/ c relay then o/c relay will also operate for earth fault.
