• Temporal Anomaly - A S... Part 2 can be watched here!
** Temporal Anomaly has a custom arrangement with CBS which allows for its release with its longer run time. This project was started in 2013 and created long before the fan film guidelines, to allow its release we got a separate arrangement with CBS**
It's finally here! Originally backed on Kickstarter in March 2013 this project has evolved year upon year. From using antiquated video game engines for the space visual effects and green screen sets, to spending hundreds of hours learning the very same VFX software they made the space effects in Voyager/Enterprise/DS9. Its been a wonderful journey and i'm so proud if its final result...truly a quality that I could never have dreamed possible back in 2013!
With a wonderful cast of actors, Temporal Anomaly is a love letter to all of Star trek! The first fan film to combine all of the eras into one project.
Check out our next big project...Convergence - A Star Trek fan production, the largest fan film cross over event in history!
“Star Trek and all related marks, logos and characters are solely owned by CBS Studios Inc. This fan production is
not endorsed by, sponsored by, nor affiliated with CBS, Paramount Pictures, or any other Star Trek franchise,

See, this just proves you don't need a fancy set, a super fancy high budget, or a super fancy costume department. Just some half decent actors, and an EXCELLENT, story. I am quite captivated. Great job.

So many people donated time here and there that had to be coordinated, in addition to the innumerable hours of post-production work on the effects, soundtrack, and all the other things that go into making a film, done for free on a very limited budget. I would say everyone did a great job, the actors that gave their time did a wonderful job and taking all those pieces and putting them together while also continuing to live a normal life outside of doing just this one project is a pretty incredible achievement! Everyone deserves to be proud of their involvement in this project!

Just to play devils advocate. But the Enterprise computer is fairly sophisticated. She had at that time identified it as an enemy vessel and locked weapons on it. Her ordering the wrong array to be fired may have been auto corrected. sort of like ... command imperative fire hostile vessel dorsal phaser array, error array out of alignment, correcting, firing ventral phaser array....

High quality production! All the digital sets look great, and the ships & weapons fire are terrific! I would love to see a fan series with this level of visual excellence!! One plot note that I really appreciate... everyone (except Munro!) seems to readily accept the possibility of time travel/temporal divergence. With all the weird stuff that Starfleet vessels have encountered, it should be just that easy to say, "yeah... looks like we might have just traveled through time." I always found it a bit unusual when any Starfleet crewman couldn't easily believe the situation they found themselves in. Well done!!! Looking forward to Part Two!! (By the way, what's up with Munro!! That dude is whack!!)

Well, *now* at least we've got SNW, already 2 *Great* Seasons, third is on the way... but sure, between 2005 and 2022 there were *only* these Fan Productions, which are *certainly* a lot more cannonical, *by far,* than _"disastrovery",_ or _"shmicard"_ brrrr

Have to hand it to you and the entire group amazing. From the story to the amount of effort put into all the special effects a true gift to the Star Trek Universe and what is as fans try and show and share with each other

This was really fun to watch! Great CGI. It is a sad thing to say, but this fan production has more ST feeling and heart in it then this STD on CBS! Also love to see so many beautiful ships come together. Great work all in all. Many thanks to the whole team. Now on to part two. :)

Yes, part 2 has a great resolution that I think anyone who watched part 1 we'll enjoy, and answers all the questions people may have had while watching the setups in part 1! :-)

@@SGUDistantHope So did you and Captain Foley review Thursdays episode of The Orville yet?
@SGUDistantHope
@SGUDistantHope 5 жыл бұрын
@@michaelbenjmitchell1 Ive actually not seen it yet! But our orville reviews absolutely bombed in views and there for add revenue needed to support the channel. We have to make content that people will actually watch and the channel voted with their views. Sorry to say! We will likely do like a block of episodes review sort of thing though as they are good so far!

Great CG... especially awesome matte job. For a moment I thought it was an actual set. Kudos to the post-production and matte team!!

Why is the captain wearing gold instead of red?
@mnfrench7603
@mnfrench7603 4 жыл бұрын
Why not? Look at it this way. This is the only person on board. He’s gotta wear something. If it McCoy was the last one on board (or Troi) they’d be wearing blue.

Is insanity a requirement for being captain of an Intrepid class ship?

Nope! Watch part 2 to see everything explained! :D

André Brynkus I don’t think that it’s required specifically for an Intrepid. It’s pretty much required that all star fleet officers that aren’t in the main cast of a show to be either incompetent or insane, or both. 😀
