Hi 老师! I made this twice When I put in 85ml of milk and I need to put extra flour to make the dough not sticky The 2nd time I only put in 40ml of milk Both taste yummy 😋 But what mistake that I did ya? 🙏🏼

Hey there, The liquid that you add after adding the butter is required to keep the whole dough together. If there’s not enough water to keep the dough together, it will fall apart too easily and it will be very hard to bring it all together. But if the liquid is too much, it will be very difficult to shape the dough. So the best way is adding the milk little by little, until all ingredients are together. After all, different flours, different egg sizes, different butters, all affect the recipe. You didn't do anything wrong, just the ingredient's ratio different, the texture of scone will be different. 😊

Cream tea meets art. Very enjoyable! I liked the egg yolk glaze, it gives a very satisfying appearance. I use whole egg, or milk which is not as precise, or as decorative as these.
HI Dvora,食材多一倍,可以做多一點,沒問題的。 捏奶油若有點化了,就先冷藏個5-10分鐘, 再拿出來繼續搓,這樣很好。整形時也是可以的,比較好作業。😊

thanks for all the detailed instructions and reminder, i have just baked my first batch of scones successfully and they taste exactly like those i had in england :) your reminder on the texture of the dough in each stage was super helpful for me to manage unexpected situations such as having a too sticky dough after first part of mixing with egg so i added a bit of flour to improve it to the texture you described in the video , big thanks
