Maybe SungHyun needs to re-tag his post as him simply covering "Illumination Theory", which I might add he does a mighty good job of doing without backing tracks. And as has already been pointed out, we see no Shure SM57 close mic'ed to the front of the speaker baffle, or from what I can tell looking at the cable arrangement on the floor, no XLR mic cable coming from the Cab-Clone DI. Mesa's Cab Clone is a "resistive load" rather than a reactive one (which costs 10 times more) and was most likely built with anticipation of being "re-amped" with a post production module like say... Chandler Limited or Universal Audio interface. To give you back that 6L6 power section warmth. The Mark V mini-me's are great. But being a proud owner of it's big brother, I couldn't live without the Mark V's headroom. Crushing good, either way.

amazing bro! those palm mutes are sound brutal! is it pure amp distortion? or are you using an OD pedal? i remember watching some videos of laney irt studio with killer palm mutes likes yours on this video but when I bought it it didnt sound anything like the videos... now this seems impressive... can you share your settings or tell if you used an od pedal or if this amp needs one?
