What a great show. The degree of talent on display is great. I often wonder how these guys would have fared as single acts. The show was very entertaining but was an almost comic presentation of the 50's groups and I can't help but wonder if that limited their talent being taken seriously.

Yea, maybe somebody could explain how greasers fit in the same group as guys in gold tights. It doesn't seem to have done them any permanent damage though - Scott Powell went on to become an orthopedic surgeon and Denny Greene went on to become a law professor. I think Johnny Contardo is still singing. Possibly the gold tights helped him to hit those high notes. lol
