🚪 Sha Tin Station platform 2, 3 have full platform gates now! MTR East Rail Line

This video was filmed between 2023/12/02 & 2024/01/26.
Sha Tin Station became the 6th East Rail Line station to get platform gates (The 5th one is Tai Wai but it is not even finished as of this video). The first 2 gates at Platforms 2 and 3 were installed in mid-December. It was then fully operational in late January of next year. Since there are multiple platforms, platform gates can be installed during day time. At the same time, platform 1 of Tai Wai and Sheung Shui Station were also getting platform gates. All stations of the East Rail Line will be installed with platform gates before the end of 2025.
沙田站成為第六個安裝閘門的東鐵線車站（第五是大圍，但還沒完成），這次是2、3號月台同時安裝閘門，兩個月台的首兩個閘門於12月中 完成，並於翌年1月底全面投入服務。 由於沙田站有多個月台，所以部分閘門都是在日間完成的。 於同期安裝閘門的還有上水站和大圍站的1號月台。 東鐵線所有車站將會在2025年或之前完成安裝閘門。
