Another cool series idea would be to do makeup up to go with genres of music: pop, grunge, hip hop, country, EDM, etc.

“I feel like Ursula.” 😂 On a serious note, thank you for talking about George Floyd. I think being emotional is normal especially during this time. I live in Los Angeles and there’s been a lot of looting, but this is not representative of those who are peacefully protesting. Anyway, thank you for using your platform to speak up. ❤️

I think it would be fun to do an artist inspired series where you pick 10 famous artists (e.g. Van Gogh, da Vinci, Warhol, Picasso, etc.) and do a look inspired by one of their pieces of work. That could be super fun and I know you would do an amazing job with it!

here's how I cover my brows for drag looks: I use the disappearing purple glue, and I smear the glue stick on my brows, making sure to cover the hair from all angles. then, I use a little metal spatula to push the hair up so it lays flat on my face, I then put more glue in them with the stick. then I scoop out glue with the same metal spatula and coat my brows in a thick-ish layer of glue. this gets them more smooth than regular brow cover would. I remove the excess glue around the brow with a q-tip and some water/micellar water. then I powder them with a powder foundation and a triangle sponge, let them sit for a bit, dust away the excess, and then use an orange color corrector. then I re-powder, brush away the excess, and put concealer on top, let it dry for a minute, and then powder again. it's a lot of steps but I've found it's the only thing that truly covers my brows! i really hope this helps!

@hannahglaser3708

Alicia Gunsallus since glue can get washed away with water, it’s not that hard to get off! you really just have to use a little extra micellar water on the brows!

Well it came out 1945 🤷‍♀️ but yes it was popular all the way into the 80s, then other kinds of foundation took over i guess🤷‍♀️ it still a really good product i think, you can do natural coverage or full on glam, and it’s travelfriendly, and lasts all day😊

You definitely didn’t look like your usual self, but you didn’t look ugly at all! You still looked pretty in a sort of classic type of way. You rly radiate kindness and compassion, you’re very funny and down to earth. Those things make you way more beautiful than anything you could put on your face. You are a naturally beautiful person, but especially where it counts. Your videos always mean something because of the type of person you are and you are always just yourself. That’s incredibly special and rare! So thank you for being you!

I honestly loved this so much!! It was totally different from anything Shan has done! It wasn’t the most flattering on her but her depiction of 20’s makeup was on point!! I can't wait to see the 1960s and the 1970s and the 1980s and well...all the decades (loved the 90s too!). I came here to distract myself from what's crazy in the world right now. Thank you for providing that out. Edit: Thank you soooo much for your support. I am an African American woman. We cannot do this without the support of people of all races from all over the world. We have lived in fear for 400 years. 99% of our law enforcement is great and need to be applauded. That one percent that is not only allowed in, but is protected after they repeatedly do violent crimes against us, are the problem. Thank you again sweet girl.

Your little pop in at the end was just so lovely and genuine. My husband and daughter are both interracial and seeing everything that is happening in the U.S scares the shit out of me. Shan, I've been watching you for so long, you always make me feel a little better when I'm struggling. I'm also very emotional about everything that is going on right now, it's so sad and frustrating. Thank you for speaking about George Floyd, with all need to speak about it, now is the moment. I also wanted to mention that I loved this video, you are to hard on yourself! The makeup look came out amazing! Send you a big hug ♥

“I’m going to send a photo to my friend to show them how ugly I look” wow me if I literally ever share a photo of myself whatsoever

Oh my goodness, I got so shocked seeing you with stuff all eyebrows holey crap 😂😂😂 but this is a cool series though, and I didn't see Ursula, while you were pulling your hair out of the clips it actually reminded me of the burlesque movie with Christina doing the express song lol 100% loved it

Thank you so much for the message you had at the end of the video. I really enjoyed your video! Please do more! Thank you for speaking out. I'm not a black POC but I support those who are. It's great when someone in your platform utilizes it in a positive way.

I think a fun mini series would be one based off of the elements: fire, air, earth, water!
