I see all the wonderful comments of Shabana. I have to share I used, think she was all that too. Her work well respected. While producing famous artists from the Indian industry, at Lincoln Center in NYC, my costume designer (feminist) who admired Shabana, approached her in the lobby of a hotel in Manhattan. Miss Shabana was down right nasty and dismissive. I never approach celebs out of respect for their privacy. But damn, I felt bad for my Designer. I have since lost all respect for this woman. I chalk it up to maybe wrong time, and maybe she was having a bad day, but still, her physical reaction was down right NASTY. No even an acknowledgement of any kind. She seem to have forgotten she is where she is because of people like my Designer. She lost me as a fan.
