This is so special and such a lovely idea. You could even make 24 and use them as an Advent calendar - maybe hanging in a garland. I have an idea to scale this up large enough to hang in my front entry. Then, people in the know could sneak a little treat from the Angel's pocket on their way past. Being bigger, it would hold more treats. When thinking about what might need to be adjusted, there may need to be some interfacing on the dress part, while the wings might benefit from a piece of florist wire or a wire pipe cleaner being sown into the hem so they don't flop. I'm starting to sew things for this Christmas and I'm quite excited by the idea of both small and larger Angels. We'll see how I go.

Thank you again for another gorgeous ornament. This is so very adorable however i think i would use the Kids hair bands that are a silicone type material and you can get them in all sizes for very cheap and i believe they would last longer than the bands you have used. Here in South Australia it gets super hot and rubber bands perish quite easily. anyway that's my hot tip.

Advance video to 15:46 and you will briefly see her put her finger in the left side of the angel "dress" which is a small opening to put a note, prayer or candy. She does say at the start that when she sews the "V" at the 6:35 part of video you can sew less of a distance instead of 2.5 inches she sews 2" to make pocket for a gift card or larger item. Hope that helps.
