The fact that Senchou can translate full english sentence without machine is already awesome in itself.
@takodachi12393 жыл бұрын
her English isn't that slow, it's the normal pace for beginner. The machine translated sentences sounds like Senchou japanese. The words are clear pronounced but the speed is faster than average.
@jonp19523 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same. Her speed when she knows what she's saying isn't too bad. When she hits a word she doesn't know is when she speaks much more slowly. The machine translated text was too fast for me personally, a native english speaker. I mean I could understand it, but it was much too fast for casual speak. Only someone who speaks 500 wpm would speak like that.
@atomicr4y4723 жыл бұрын
Her speed in English is kinda normal if you put her in the South or Midwest. Once you get North/Northeast the pace picks up in every way of life, speech included.
@Colopty3 жыл бұрын
Yeah her english tempo is more relaxed rather than outright slow. Meanwhile the computer voice is in a real rush to get those words out fast.
@animefan74243 жыл бұрын
How fast does the machine speak in words per second? For ads, a 30s ad should be 75 words at max, or about 2.5 words per second.
@obake62903 жыл бұрын
The TTS voice sounded pretty normal to me (Midwesterner) until I tried to say it myself. I still think the pace is fairly normal for most sentences, but "well received" specifically is awkward to say and I had to slow down for it. Probably part of why we don't actually say that.
@knicklichtjedi3 жыл бұрын
Her japanese feels to me way faster than of the average japanese person. Which would explain why she feels like her english is way too slow when she usually speaks a lot faster. (But could also be due to the fact that I only know a few japanese words.)
