Shad Fishing on the Delaware River

Shad roe is our absolute favorite late winter, early spring special dinner! Ours come up the Connecticut River. Sadly, they’ve become so rare, we’ve not been able to even special order it for 2 years!

Since where were you allowed to target shad. Last I knew you weren't allowed to in nys

The Delaware Basin states: NY, PA, and Delaware can take different species of Shad, though there are limits.
